So David Wright has a herniated disc in his neck which may or may not be related to his back condition. He's to see the doctor on Tuesday. I'm sure they'll take an MRI to see how badly the nerve is being impinge by the herniation. My guess is that he's on the DL for at least 15 days, if not 30.

With the Mets having just signed Loney to platoon at 1B with Wilmer while Duda is on the DL for the next two months. But with Wright out, Wilmer will have to play 3B which means that Loney will play full time.

Wright should really think about his health not just in the now, but when he's older. I hate to say this but Wright's body has betrayed him. He should think about retirement at the end of the year.

Damn, really hate to see him start to fall apart like this. Man sat through all those **** teams, and when we finally get on his body gives out on him. He should really consider retirement.

Was hoping they would call up dilson and move walker to third. Flores has been trash all season and I'm tired of seeing soup in a major league outfit.

Big step for Harvey. Hope he can continue. But signs for him a degroms are looking good. Harvey has his velocity all game. Degrom had his early but it fell off a lil later, and his control hasn't been degrom like since his velocity had the uptick. If we can get them Rollin, we can survive the injury barrage better like last season.

they have an issue because Plawecki, Campbell, and Kelly aren't major leaguers and they are getting too many at bats. All 3 should be in the minors.

Rene Rivera should start almost every game behind the plate (he calls such a better game behind the plate and has a much stronger arm) The offense is insignificant because both can't hit.

Can we cut Campbell already? Over the past 2 seasons he has been hitting well under .200 with literally no extra base hits (mediocre defender too).

Ty Kelly? Dude is a bum and career minor leaguer.

If Wright goes to the DL here would be my roster moves.

Loney up for Ty Kelly
TJ Rivera up for Campbell (brings up the mets most capable hitter in the minors).
Bring back Reynolds if you have to DL Wright. That would free up Wilmer to play 1B/3B. Reynolds would give you a backup middle infielder for Cabrera and Walker who are being over worked at the moment.

Great to see Harvey and Familia pitch like we all know they can yesterday!

Allegedly, Walker's not keen on playing 3B in what is his walk year. I'm ok with Wilmer playing 3B. I think once he starts getting consistent playing time he'll get his rhythm back and start hitting. I'd hate to break up our DP tandem. They've played great so far.

yes agreed, Dilson isn't that much of a known factor to warrant moving Walker from 2B to play 3B instead of just having Flores play 3B.

Yankees page is up 2 pages on us. That cannot be allowed. Even if we have to fill up two pages with Azzdribble (get it?), we need to pull ahead.

There's not a chance that David will see the end of that contract. Once the back and neck start acting up, it's only a matter of time before he will hang it up.

im not too worried about them since most of our young players will be free agents after Wright's contract runs out. Matz, Syndergaard, Conforto, Degrom will be free agents after. Harvey (and possibly wheeler) may be up for contracts but im hoping we can get great deal for Harvey trade deadline 2017 when he has 1.5 years left on his contract.
