Looks like a very solid 2-guard to me.

Got playing time on a stacked golden state team and held his own. Had to defer to butler on the Bulls. Now there is nobody in his way. Time will tell

Perfect fit for you guys. Gutted we gave him up but happy enough with the deal overall.
I think this deal makes plenty of sense for both sides.
Chicago obviously had to move on. We weren't going to land super attractive prospects for Rose, and I don't think we're in a position to start putting together the roleplayers/supporting cast with no true star/shot creator, however, I've come back round and think bottoming out can set you back more than it is worth. I think finding young players, putting them in the right situations to succeed and creating a competitive environment is far more invaluable to their development as opposed to the Sixers strategy, for example.
I like the Jerian Grant addition, but this is offset somewhat by giving up Holiday - we need as many 3&D players as we can find.

For you guys this is a very low to no risk/high reward scenario. If Rose refinds his form, great. If not, enjoy a lotto pick and more cap space in 2017. Everyone is quick to try and find a winner/loser, when this deal makes sense for both teams IMO...

I think Holiday will be a perfect fit with Melo and a hopefully healthy (and hungry) Rose.
On a team with ball-dominant offensive fire-power, you need glue guys like Holiday that do the little things and put the team first.

Looks like an anorexic Roberson who can splash some 3s.

Rose
Holiday
Durant
Melo
KP

A lot of targets for Rose to kick it out from his ISOs.

I like him on this team, I just don't see him as a starter. He can come off the bench and get some transition buckets off of steals, he can hit a three and make some solid passing. He looks like a nice back up guard off the bench, can't go wrong with that. Bulls fans seem super high on him, hell get the sense they would've preferred to trade Snell.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
C- Maluach l Jackson l Hayes
PF- Okongwu l Newell l Salaun
SF- Wiggins l Bryant l McNeeley
SG- Thomas l Sexton l Okogie
PG- Murray l Collier l Dillingham

Snell is a mediocre NBA player. Basically plays with negative motor, if that's possible.

I'm really curious how Phil will fill out the rest of roster with the draft and FA. As of right now, Holiday is our starting SG.

A really good player last year that got no burn.

But as I always state- this is the NBA. It doesnt matter. Well never win a championship until we land a #1 pick.
