Bingo. Having wireless headphones is an inconvenience. I mean think about it, what is the benefit to them? None that I can think of.

The aux input in my car was a must have for me.

theres an adaptor included, as mentioned before

Ok good, but why not just make the phone with the jack instead of adding an extra accessory. Just another thing for someone to possibly misplace and have to purchase again. It's a bad move imo

step forward in technology, not saying Apple invented this but eventually wired anything will be a thing of the past

Go run on a treadmill or an elliptical. Sitting still? Of course, why wireless. Do anything active and cords are just annoying. And when really do people listen to their music? In the car at which point you got the system blasting ( although i mostly listen to sports radio these days), or at the gym or run. Otherwise Im home so to me theres actually very little benefit to corded headphones.

What I am wondering is when do we get the earbuds that link to suri like in "Her". Why at this point do we need to dial a number when we could touch our ear and ask to hear anything we want or call anyone we want? You could tell, Im ready for the smartphone that slides in your wallet and you can bend.

The only time wires are annoying when doing physical activities is if they're too short or too long. I use my sony headphones with wires at the gym every day and they never annoy me. What would annoy me is if I wanted to listen to music and couldn't because my headphones aren't charged.

Well yeah that would suck but i cant be alone here with the cords. I end up never using them at the gym because of this. You leave them on the machine and it just feels like you're on a leash, put the phone in your pocket and its bouncing, plus your arm pulls out the cord. Ive actually thought this through before this breakthrough. Not the invention itself but its usage. I mean, aren't there cordless beats headphones already? So people are used to charging stuff, just get er done but those gum cords. Im probably neurotic about it but I don't wanna be attached at the gym.

No I hear you. It took me a while to find a pair of headphones I was comfortable with at gym. For me personally it's all about finding a cord with the right length (don't make any jokes haha). I been using the same type of headphones for three years. I was so pleased with how they worked, I ordered the same exact pair when my original pair broke.

lol dudeee

if you lose or break them you have to buy a wholee new pair which probably isn't cheap knowing apple
i cant use them with other devices for example my gaming system, laptop etc etc
if im out for an extended amount of time and they die ill be pissed

the only thing here you got going is it's wireless..i rather have the cord and be annoyed than a pair of dead earphones or at least have the option to choose between the iphone with the wireless headphones or the iphone with the jack.

And who says they are good for working out? probably fall right out your ear. Most people that work out use earphones that actually stay on their ear for example

I am not even a Samsung fanboy or evangelist. Just disappointed that in the new version of a phone that's not a mere "s" upgrade, you arent anywhere closer to the wrap around double sided screen. Same damn phone really with improvements that's a hair better the the last one. Not worth raising the number to 7

OT: Apple's iPhone 7 is Officially Here

Post#54 » by Phish Tank » Thu Sep 8, 2016 3:48 am

Unlike the last time I upgraded an iPhone 5 to the 6 (which I probably didn't really need to do at the time anyways), I don't have any plans to grab this one for a long while since my phone is running smooth. I hate the price point of the headphones tho. I just hope Tim Cook doesn't slow down the iPhone 6 with OS upgrades the way they used to do with iPhone 4s and older generation of iPads

Comparing specs, they are very similar.

It's all about software and I still prefer the smoothness of Apple iOS over Droid and I've used all the new ones.

Off the top of my head

Expandable memory and removeable battery

The HiFi DAC is intriguing if you listen to music alot

Might also be cheaper no price for the V20 yet tho

Me too, in fact, I damaged my original one and got a new one.

My kids have newer phones that me but my 4S works, does everything I need and is Sudra or and reliable.

I'm also in the cycle of getting each 'new' iPhone and skipping the s's.The new 7 looks like a minor upgrade at best... Better camera, longer battery life water resilient, that's a whore lot of meh for $700

Next year is the 10 year iPhone anniversary and people are speculating there will be a major overhaul ,true full screen no more black bezels finally a OLED.... Think I might be holding off this year

Google it and you'll see the photos/vids/stories. They were exploding when charged. So a "few" million got recalled.

I've got the Sprint free upgrade deal, but seeing how the new phones drop with issues at least early on, I'll just hold off on my upgrade until the reviews drop and probably at least the first update.
