they were signing lin before they knew what houston was offering. you can go and find the picture of melo, chandler and woody taking lin to dinner to convince him to stay. how melo had anything to do with him not coming back is beyond me. it was about his contract.

The no defense critique is fair.

Melo shouldve been more of a leader by example during his days in Denver. I can definitely say Melo sacrificed his defense in order to focus more on the offensive end.

At the same time though, Karl needs to blame himself for not coaching the team properly. He did a very poor job of properly communicating with his team and seems to blame them instead of himself.

Karl just doesnt seem to have good communication skills. Melo, Boogie, Andre Iguodala, Kendall Gill, even Ray Allen have all said negative things about Karl. Karl may be a good x's and o's coach, but he just doesnt know how to talk to people which is also a major part of coaching.

Stoudemire did not mention Anthony by name, but his comments point squarely to the Knicks' star.

Amare never even mentioned Melo, so i dont know how bNO is stating it as a fact. The journalist who wrote the article is speculating that it was Melo, and that speculation wasnt correct.

I always felt it was more Jr. Jr did say a comment about Lin's contract and he sounded very salty Lin received that type of contract.
