I take NDour over Randle and that is saying very...very little.

I've seen very little from Randle --- NDour I at least see a potential versatile defensive player who will defend/crash glass and maybe grow into a role player in the right spot.

Randle --- not sure I see much there.

Such a mistake to let him go over LFT. :nonono:

Either Lance or Galloway would have been a mistake when either could be replaced with a minimum wage player like a Baker/Ndour or a lower cost guy in Lance's case like Kuz.

Always a risk throwing bigger $$$ at role type players who play good on a bad squad like ours last year. I actually liked Lance last year but he looks to be a shell of even himself (LOL).

Best of luck, Chasson. Lord knows the Sixers need scoring from their guard slots so this is about as good a shot as he can have.

I want to see the 2 point guard line-up with Rose and Randle or Jennings and Randle. Rose doesn't have deep range and Jennings is a streak shooter so they haven't been that effective together. Let's get another shooter in the backcourt that also has the ability to to get to the rim and see how much better our spacing is. I like Justin Holiday but he doesn't really have a lot of quickness, though he is fast in the open floor.

What? You wouldn't rather have Lance?

Yeah, me neither. We kept the wrong one.

Thing is Galloway is making 5 million. That's chump change with the cap where it is and where it's going to be next season. Also he becomes a tradeable asset on a team kind of devoid of them. He certainly has more value in that aspect than a Baker or N'Dour. We lost him for nothing after we groomed him to be the useful player he is today. That's bad business.

He's going to cash in this summer once he opts out and we could have locked him up long term with a Lance type deal. It just doesn't make sense to me why we didn't.

Phil got greedy and thought he could keep both... Nope. Imagine how happy we'd be if we had Galloway shooting the way he's shooting and playing solid defense for the 4 year contract we had Lance on.... What a trade asset that is.

I'd have rather NOT paid 5 million for Galloway (win, Knicks didn't) AND not paid the same for LFT (loss, Knicks did)

I'd like to give Briante Weber a look. He's built like Rondo and absolutely hounds guards defensively. Hard nosed kid who had a tough break of tearing his ACL his senior year at VCU or else I think he would have been drafted. Watched him a lot in the A10. think there's an NBA player in there somewhere.

It's not like we are signing anyone anyway.
Trades need to come.

Just Terrible!! We have bums sitting on the bench like a Ndour and Sasha, and can't keep a young guard with upside

I know what you are talking about -- the 3 ball where he's hitting a very nice % -- but it's still amusing to hear "shooting the way he's shooting" because overall LG is at just 39%.

With New Orleans they have him playing the right role. He's always been a shooter/scorer who could run the occasional pick and roll. That's what he was in college and what he should have been here. I could care less what his overall percentage is when 2/3rds of his shots are 3's and you're shooting 39% on them with the highest 3 point % in the 4th quarter in the league. He's a role guy but, he's damn good at the role he provides unlike Lance Thomas who doesn't do much of anything nowadays...

Good luck, Chasson. I'm happy he's getting a shot.
