Read that Rosen article and I started getting angry because this is complete bs. KP´s attitude is a problem? What should´ve been the content of that "exit interview" anyway?!?! Jackson has a big ego problem and only wants to flex his muscles...

I understand we are all venting here, but you still gonna be here Phil or not, KP or not and everybody else saying they will turn in their fan card is full of it or either just upset in the moment.
Dudes will be here in november rooting for the "front of the jersey" and avatars all around for some bum undrafted dude.
I changed it because I liked it. I would change it again, but I'm out of switches...although I was thinking of asking to see if I can change it again. You're taking the avatar and name thing too seriously, dude.
Honestly, if Phil trades KP and stays, we will see what happens with me. Phil is a major issue for me. I'll still be a fan...but this is a HUGE issue for me...that's all I'll say. It has less to do with KP and a lot more to do with Phil running this franchise into the ground.
Hard to say he's running the franchise to the ground when we have Willy, KP and all our picks. Until he trades KP for trash I'll agree with you. But he hasn't done anything franchise damaging yet. That's a premature statement.
Not picking a direction, **** contracts, forcing triangle, bad trades, firing coaches, ghost writers, tweeting, pissing players off...
Trading KP would be the ice on the cake, but he's been bad...it's not premature at all, IMO.

Yes, and why Janis said that if KP is traded from New York he will play out his contract and leave that city. KP wants New York and New York wants KP but KP better fall in line and realize he is not bigger than New York.
Phil just sent him a HUGE message, that we can better by trading you.

But Phil is bigger than the team...? Lol.

People who support Phil are putting **** FO executives ahead of players. They think he's more important than the future, even though he's done nothing to deserve any respect from us.
I'm with you 100%, and for me a big part of it is KP. How can you take a guy who is a hard worker, fan favorite, and absolute top tier prospect, and want to trade him just out of spite? It goes way beyond ridiculous. I get it Phil. KP made a huge mistake in missing the exit interview. His brother is an idiot, and is giving him insanely bad advise. KP belongs to the Knicks right now, so it is up to them to work together and make it work. They all want to win. That's all that had to be said by either side.

Sure he's been bad but that's not franchise damaging. He's had one awful contract in Noah. His trades weren't even that bad. The only thing you can really complain is not getting enough value for his pieces. He hasn't really given up anything in trades. You know like unprotected 1st for Tmac, Bargs, etc. The tweeting and pissing players off, whatever, that's really not that important. Isiah literally went to court for sexual harassment and Dolan tried to help cover it up and people don't even mention it anymore.
Phil trading KP for garbage would be a franchise altering move. But atm we have picks and a nice looking front court of the future. The rest is noise.

Every time Phil does this I think that he is trying to get fired so he can retire and still get paid

phil ? yes. how is this different than ruining melo's value by talking about him ? phil doesn't seem to understand that discretion can be a useful tool in a negotiation.

(Snipped because quote was all messed up.)
Noah's contract is beyond awful - it's the worst or second worst in the entire NBA. On top of that, there was no need for him with the front court we had.
He's acquired players in an attempt to make the playoffs, only to fail because either they're always hurt, they suck, or they don't fit. He traded away RoLo for **** and got horrible value in the previous deals before that. That cannot be overlooked.
I don't think it's noise as all - if KP is legitimately annoyed, and players already don't want to sign here, we're ****. The fact that he went on TV to reduce the value of Melo (after already doing so through Rosen and Twitter) and then goes on TV to complain about KP and alienate our future shows that he's an immature twat who doesn't know what he's doing (especially when you take into account everything he's done). The tweeting and callin players out IS important because it's a players league. If players don't want to play here because they don't like Phil, we're ****.
Yeah, Thomas was very bad, but that doesn't excuse Phil one bit for being a **** FO executive either.

I expect some damage control to be done today bc Dolan doesnt like the devaluing of the guy people are buying tickets to see. I hope it pisses off Phil and he quits.

If trading KP is what it takes to dump Noah and Melo and get decent assets back, I will do it.
KP still has a lot to prove and shouldnt be an untouchable.

Isiah gave up two lottery picks for Eddy Curry. Nothing will ever top that.
