I think they prefer a guaranteed expiring, but if they did take on KOQ and McDermott, they could decline the option on Doug and take the risk of KOQ opting out. Even if he opts in that's still a 5 mil difference between him and Asik for next season so they might consider it. Would def. be working the phones with them right now though

It's 30 million in dead cap over 3 years for a late first rounder. It's really not that big of a deal if we miss it. Tim will most likely be better than whoever we would've picked there anyways, and we'd be capped out regardless

It's all up to the owners. They don't want to pay luxury tax after resigning Boogie so it all depends on how much money they are looking to offer him to bring him back and how worth it is it for them to risk paying the penalty tax. It's not really up to the FO, it's the owners.

if you go down to 2019 notes...only 3 million guaranteed for 2019 so if we cut him in 2019 we are only on the books for 3 million not 12 million.
