He would be a significant reach at 9 bypassing many more known and talented players so yea.....

Porter.

Not sure how hes calculating that. nothing is set yet. even nbadraft.net has all those guys gone and Trae slipping to us. Still should have more to choose in that poll.

The Magic have no point guards. They're taking Trae.

IMO order of preference for realistic options:
Porter Jr.(if 100% healthy; read somewhere that a case study on his back procedure showed no long-term effect in longevity)
Carter
Miles (prefer his upside, but I go back and forth between he and Mikal almost every day)
Mikal
(50 feet of crap)
Trae Young

The more I read up on other teams' news outlets, I'm convinced the Knicks will have to take Michael Porter Jr, doubling up on potentially injured star players.

I sure hope they him/a PG in general. Though I question if Magic management would take a guy like Young when they like length and athleticism. Maybe they go Sexton over Young, maybe even take one of the Centers (even tho they have a front court logjam)

Might as well.. If Kp and MPjr both end up being injury wrecks we just start over..

The report that Chicago is not happy with Kris Dunn's work ethic is encouraging for the Knicks. If Young goes to Orlando and Sexton goes to Chicago our options open up nicely. I didn't realize Dunn is on The Bachelorette right now. Shows where his priorities are.

More
So a @dallasmavs staffer said Michael Porter, Jr.’s workout in Chicago was “extremely impressive.” That means that Mavs hoping team picking ahead will take him so someone else falls to No.5. Everyone is lying 2 weeks before @NBADraft.

Well, I mean, they probably want Bamba.

It's disconcerting that the Bulls are downplaying Mikal's performance :-?

I am taking Mikal out of this 3.

Porter, just too risk. I really don't know

Carter I think we'll be good, just dont like the fit and think Mikal can have a similar impact at position of bigger need

Porter Jr is the compromise between Gallo and Chandler with both of their injury histories combined!!

If we get Porter, it's a good night.
