I actually wasn't sure!

I like that damn Phil Collins song more than I should admit.

and I lived in brooklyn for 15 years

I hope I can get in
can it be a game against Indy, Boston or Miami?

"Similar" story...

Vegas Born, NYC pub schools most of childhood, lived abroad after getting "sent away". Saw places doing the greater good thang then 13 years in a borough.

Can have your B&T day @ MSG though, avoid B&T "crowd" like the plague.

JVG - The main riff from the Phil Collins song was legit the starting lineups intro before they had the GO NY GO NY GO rap. Maybe until 1991? The first few years I was watching. It was cheeseballs as hell but kind of awesome also.

Man. I have been away from NYC far too long since I didn't know what that game was lol.

Funny thing is, whenever I visit my grandma in Brooklyn, the neighborhood almost looks the same about 30 years later. Some of the same neighbors still live there, too.

Born in NY Hospital, raised in Queens
Don't know the game, blame my parents for raising me where they did
Played box ball, stoop ball, stickball, street football (manhole to manhole endzones), more baseball on asphalt than grass. Obviously basketball
Ring-a-levio, yup. That too.
Remember the 77 blackout too.
Diehard yankee fan, been to way more games at Shea, as the Mets sucked, tickets were cheap and it was close.

My folks are very NY as they spent over 40 years there. When I first came out to the bay I went to a local pizza shop and asked for a "hero" and the guy looked at me like I was crazy.

without the salary to go with it

actually I had season tickets for 15 years until I became a father and couldn't find the time any more

also all the losing made me exhausted from screaming and almost fighting other teams smugass fans

malik959 wrote:SK was fun, but I preferred 4 square, spread eagle, and stick ball growing up. I spent most of my childhood in Hemstead and was a huge Reggie Jackson fan. I became a Knicks fan when I got into junior high watching Ewing abuse people with just the look on his face. If only P.E was our big man coach.

Now the proper question would be what came on TV at 12pm everyday that made every child think they knew karate?
