If the Yanks were involved, then they sure sucked at cheating when playing home playoff games

Imagine stanning for Incarcerated Bob. Love to see it.

If the Yankees were involved post September 2017, then absolutely fine and suspend in accordance to their transgressions.

Read on Twitter

so this twitter account was created months and months ago, announced beltran being hired back in october, and all this time is not his niece?

does it dismiss the fact that whoever is operating this has been 100% correct? from the beltran hiring, to beltran stepping down, to the buzzers, etc.

beltran's niece or a burner account, this person has been 100% accurate ... but now that the yankees might be involved it's not a real source? foh.

Didn't say it was wrong, just that it's not his niece lol. The account didn't even follow Beltran.

Its amazing to me that no players are suspended for this, and now Manfred is telling players to not speak out, whats he gonna do fine them and suspend when he didnt bother to suspend any Astros players, this is all because of the MLB players association if thats the case why suspend anyone during the season for hitting a batter or PEDS. Hand down a harsh penalty and the players can appeal.

The owner is getting a pass so they are fined 5 mill and lose 1st and 2nd rd picks big deal its not the NFL or NBA, its as if the owner just wipes his slate clean. This has been in the know because the general public doesn't care much for MLB now this is brought to the forefront because of Fiers and Jomboys twitter, now Manfred is handing down the BS penalties to save face and just thinks he can just move on, umm no not so much you have to get your hands dirty if you wanna move on from this theres no other way.

Players are not being targeted because the infractions required the use of the stadium's technology and mediums. Players can't authorize that.

This is how labor arbitration works. I remember when I was an attorney for the city of Philadelphia, we'd fired police officers for doing all sorts of heinous stuff and the labor arbitrators would put them back on the force. This is a paramilitary law enforcement department and the Mayor/Police Commish can't manage their own roster of officers.

But players were complicit in the cheating, it could not have happened without their knowing actions

nobody has brought this up, if the astros cheated offensively then they definitely cheated with their pitchers spin rate.

I still feel they got off really easy. They should start the next two seasons with 10 added to the L column.

Can teams that just signed former Astro players take their offer back (like Cole's Yankee contract)?

I would bet most teams try to sign steal. this sophisticated type of sign stealing? I don't think too many teams would do all of that.

they did. red sox and astros should have been stripped of their titles, and their next 4 1st round draft picks should have been taken away. literally any team can attempt to replicate what these guys did, win a world series, and they'll get away with it.
