RealGM (the Knicks board really , can't speak for this site overall) really should clamp down on nutty posts citing propaganda sites. It is not paranoia to repeatedly state Russian memes are being pushed in the U.S. via alt right news sites and social media feeds. We should not be a part of that food chain

we post unfounded twitter rumors and opinions as news so I don't think they should do that, no. just put the info out there and we can decide for ourselves if we want to believe it or trust the source or not

sites like the Daily Caller are White Supremacist groups. It is not censorship to say let's not propogate their material or Breitbart's. Every time you post their links, you're creating backlinks that boost their SEO presence and helps their business.

Bill Barr's crime spree will be over soon. Barr's team have just been busted for falsifying evidence. They claim it was an innocent mistake. Uh huh. Oh, and Mike Flynn is going to prison.

At this point, I think you can say two things about Biden:

The campaign strategy was correct to let Trump set himself on fire for as long as possible. It worked

Biden has stepped up during the home stretch and has shown the leadership he needs to bring to the moment.

That's what he had to do to win and he has done it

Better late than never. It’s amazing how going down the left rabbit hole usually leads to more compassion and understanding. Funny how that works.

Trumpism is all about being aggro and then accusing those who react to you as being equally aggro.

It must feel very strange for someone to awaken from that bubble and realize they don't have to be like that, that supporting government that takes care of its people is not weak, but just, and that dismantling GOP power politics is good for the soul.

More people in the White House have COVID than Taiwan.

You can swim to China proper from Taiwan. When they get *A* case it makes news. They crushed it as well, obviously being an island with limited ingress and egress is a huge boon, but they also went very hard very early. They also had MDs on the ground in Wuhan who ignored the WHOs early edicts that it wasn't spreading person to person.

Trump inherited a system built by Obama (and Biden) to handle this pandemic and he destroyed it like everything else out of spite. There were American health investigators permanently stationed in China (with China's permission) for the purpose of tracking any potential outbreaks. Trump pulled them last Fall when there were already rumblings of something occurring in China.

I can tell whether a person has any intellectual integrity by their willingness to credit Obama with handling the Ebola outbreak competently. Without that administration's efforts, it would have spread in the U.S. (we caught the few cases immediately) and the rest of the world, but it did not.

There are no excuses for how Trump handled this pandemic. It is pretty much the worst performance as a president in the history of this country. Even a known cheater like Nixon would have recognized a crisis like this and would have done something to address it.

Point being, even a corrupt government can sometimes do the right thing. This current administration can only grift and can be counted on to only do the wrong thing pretty much every single time.

Yo, I don't think this is going to end well for Biden. I predict Biden will be stepping down before the election.
