It's been terrible the last couple of years. I can barely motivate myself to watch regular season games anymore despite unlimited access via league pass. They should cut it in half.

58 games really should be ideal so each team gets to play each other exactly twice.

This gives a fairer assessment as to which team really deserves home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Also there would be no advantages for Western non-playoff teams to have better lottery chances than Eastern counterparts since they play in a tougher conference. West seems to always get the top picks in the draft which keeps the balance of power tilted in that direction.

As a fan, I hope so but the NBA will not do it at the expense of revenue. We are about the game, they are about the money.

As a fan, I hope so but the NBA will not do it at the expense of revenue. We are about the game, they are about the money.

I’d be interested in hearing what the NBAPA’s position is on something like that.
