I don't think _this year's_ sim will take the Westbrook/Simmons offseasons into account. It'll be interesting if he's a holdout though.
Exactly, and even if Simmons holds out he will still be eligible for the SiM I believe. We have had players play in the sim in the past that weren't playing in the NBA.

The sim doesn't take the new season into account at all? If so I might get really lucky next year with all the guys coming off career years I got.

uh oh. i guess 2 ball-dominant, non-shooting PGs is the formula to beat the pacers

Ayyyeeee. Imma watch the replay soon lol. Love getting the W. Looks like my goal of having the best playmaking team int he league and one of the top defenses is accomplished.

I had a feeling Russ and Simmons would be a problem. My perimeter defense is not that strong. We tried to make a game of it in the end. Maybe starting JRich over Nunn for defensive purposes is a way to combat these guard heavy teams.

Good game OKC. I love the Westbrook/Simmons pairing. Totally goes against today's offensive thinking.

NGL I didn't expect the win. Your team is talented as hell. I know I'm trying to break the sim this year, maybe it'll actually work lol.

I think I should have won as well based on lineups. Westbrook, Simmons, and Warren are solid. I think Dragic, Sap, and Satoransky are solid sleepers.

Looking at your team, Harris and KP would be great fits.

Wouldn't mind seeing on how the scoring of my starting five works or to see if Dinwiddie becomes a super sixth man.

Wish I could pay for em lol.

Also I just finished watching... You got the wrong Diallo on the squad lol.

I want to see how Nunn works out as a starting PG this off season. He played really well in 44 starts last season. I hope the newer SIM gives him a decent bump.

Its the off season and I will see how things go. If Nunn is my starting point guard and we go 10-5 or better, its hard to argue with that. I don't think anyone is going undefeated; so a few losses are expected.

I’m done making moves this offseason.

My final three acquisitions round out my roster, and I consider them the final stage of my upgrades.

RATIONALE

Steven Adams < Bol Bol
• Playing the long game here, big believer in his talent once it meets opportunity, and I’ve secured his bird rights

James Johnson < Kyle Kuzma
• Clear upgrade. Acquired a scoring PF off the bench who can stick the three, plus the ability to score on all three levels

Jeremy Lamb < Khyri Thomas
• Playing to the SIM here. Sneaky small sample size production but I’m betting on the SIM simply basing his ratings valuation off statistics and analytics alone

Last season’s IRL stats for Khyri Thomas:
30.6 MINS | 16.4 PTS | 48% FG | 100% FT | 33% 3PT | 1.8 3PTM | 3.6 REB | 5.0 AST | 1.8 STL | 1.2 BLK | 21.3 PER | .586 TS%

2024 & 2025 Bubble Champions (Repeat)

1: Thompson | Nembhard | Smart
2: White | Wallace | Clark
3: Dort | Sharpe | Rupert
4: Wembanyama | Green | Bol
5: Gobert | Drummond | Mamukelashvili
