I hate the Knicks, but I thought some of you might enjoy seeing this. The Knicks are the #1 halfcourt team in the L, it surprised the **** out of me. Edit: Courtesy of Synergy.

Sorry brother, not trying to get banned, but aside from cheering for canadians in the L, I detest the Knicks. Probably goes back to being an MJ fan (pre-Raps), then our 2 series in 00/01.

But since I posted it in our thread, I thought you guys would get a kick out of it. Kinda amazed by the SpotUp shooting too, hopefully it regresses hard tonight tho.

this is a worrisome trap game

easy to let down after the last couple big results

we really have to keep an eye on that final 3 mins too

I mean, Fournier probably doesn't add spacing over Bullocks, but certainly adds offensive variety. So, spacing remains, but variety increases a lot.
But Kemba over Elf adds spacing AND offensive competence/variety.

We were playing 4 on 5 with Elf. Huge difference now.

I could provide countless backup of why he was a total disaster for this team. He was awful with the ball in his hands but he was even worse without the ball because his defender could basically play a rover position to cut off drives.

RJ has gotten better but it doesn't take a genius to see when RJ drives there aren't multiple guys standing in the paint because the guys he's playing with are legit shooters.

this is giving me flash backs

Anyone who watched the Knicks the past 2 seasons could see the garbage presence in every part of his game. Unless you simply dont understand basketball I dont know how commentators continuously would point to Elfrid as our tenacious defender. Clyde must of been trolling us or trying to help elfrid stick in the NBA after we dropped him.

Scrappy young teams give the Knicks the most trouble.

Seriously, Magic and Pelicans were the Knicks toughest games

Barnes, Siakam and Watanabe all out? This has all the makings of a trap game, Thibs better not let them get too sleepy.

I'm thinking maybe Randle has a big game tonight.

And I want D Rose in for the last 5 minutes. Take no chances and go for the strong close. Leggoooooooo

Raptors are a pretty good matchup for us because essentially their personnel, right now, is just a worse version of ours

FVV is similar to Kemba on offense, but has always been a little less efficient than Kemba has been (Better defender though for sure)
GTJ is their main shooter/gunner. Fournier is probably more consistent than he is.
OG is their brick chithouse 2 way wing like RJ, but i'd say RJ is a little more polished offensively right now.
Achiuwa is the rim running Center like Mitch, but Mitch is definitely a level above.

Raptors love to target long athletes in their roster makeup. The trade-off has been that they don't necessarily have a lot of good shooters and it shows in their 3 point percentage for the year. They've shot only 32% on the year and I kind of think that's right in line with what their personnel looks like. Historically, only FVV, Dragic, GTJ and Svi have been good shooters out of their current rotation guys.

Knicks should do what they did a lot last year defensively and basically force these guys to make jumpers. Knicks are the more talented group IMO and should win if they come with the right effort. Raps have a bunch of scrappers so you need to bring it from the tip or they'll come into MSG and steal one.

This is going to be a tough one. We need good games from Mitch and Obi.
