Re: Russia-Ukraine War Part 2
Damn the U.S. and UK is on some kind of misinformation campaign. Ukraine is getting absolutely sledge hammered in this offensive. Even the german media isn't hiding it anymore. Losses seem absolutely catastrophic, to the point where Ukraine has been trying to readjust tactics and halted assaults. Major regions in Ukraine are holding last ditch mobilization efforts as the AFU is looking for another 90.000 soldiers (for example chernihiv supposedly anounced total mobilization).
So far some NATO trained brigades have gotten completely destroyed (Kremina region--the 42 mechanized brigade has gotten annihilated and removed from the battle fields)--- these formed brigades and basic trained army's strength resembles nothing what Ukraine had last year (experienced, battle tested soldiers). It turns out you can't turn someone with no experience into a good soldier with a basic NATO training. Who would have thought. Leopards, Bradley fighting vehicles, strikers getting smoked left and right.....this has turned into an utter debacle.
And good luck to those who believe russian losses are anywhere near as much as ukrainian I suggest you take the time listening to some WESTERN volunteer fighters on WESTERN channels talking about the war in detail. The message always being the same--basically: we were deployed to the frontlines for weeks, got bombarded, our unit severaly decimated --all while not encountering a single russian soldier or just very short episodes of real frontline battles. Mostly being hammered by artillery all day long."

Absolute nonsense. Ukraine is still stuck on the outskirts of that russian security zone, have not even reached anywhere close to the first (out of 5 !!!) defense lines and lost around 40% of their western equipment. I always thought that Russia, China etc. were supposed to spew propaganda but turns out western media is much more outlandish and proficient at it. They literally just make up stuff.

Prigozhin has launched what seems like a coup attempt. Or at least, what the beginning of a coup attempt might look like

Considering that your message is always the same it is easy to see your allegiance has nothing to with promoting the "truth"

I'm sure the Ukranians HAVE taken some heavy losses. They've said as much. They are on the assault and the Russians are in the defense. Even sh*tty soldier can do ok in the defense. And the Russians have a lot of artillery.
Of course, that said, the OP sounds full of sh*t. Of course there is western propaganda. Of course, he's all too willingly to swallow Russian propaganda whole hog. Hmm.
Probably rooting hard for the saviors of Christianity...

It is cruel and ugly as war usually is and with heavy casualties on both sides.
What I would never claim to know is exactly how it is going for either side, yet why should any of us believe people posting here who praise the undying loyalty of Russian soldiers to the Motherland? It is tripe and not something that can be attributed to the state of the Russian military today.
Ukraine cannot win on pride alone, but they do have it and they will persist. As far as whose firepower is superior, I'd say this victimized country is holding its own quite well against what was once supposed to be a military superpower.
Putin may be able to bleed his country dry to fund the war, but he does not have a supply of trained soldiers to draw from so if it will get harder for one side, my bet is it will be for Russia, not Ukraine.
The public scuffle with Wagner Group has been boiling over for a long time now so we don't know how much juice Putin has left within the confines of Russia itself.

US says Wagner coup is ‘real’ and ‘serious’ as White House consults allies.
Joe Biden has been briefed on the chaotic situation in Russia with US officials describing it as “serious”.
The president was being kept informed as Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was accused by Moscow of launching an armed rebellion.
A White House National Security Council spokesman said: “We are monitoring the situation and will be consulting with allies and partners on these developments.”

I'm waiting for HopelessKnick to come through with an update from the front lines
In all seriousness, the concern I have about this is that the dude running Wagner is a hardline psychopath...if the Kremlin falls, who is controling Russia's nukes?
Right now there's reports of Russian helicopters attacking Wagner en route to Moscow.
