Some Knicks fans are idiots.

Dude got paid like an all-star. He went from being why Knicks might win it all to why OKC might never win it in one summer. Can't hate him for getting paid twice what he is worth!

A healthy Mitch would make us the most fearsome defensive team the league has seen for years. Not sure how that could be anything but a good thing

That NYKMentality Psycho is pathetic

Hartenstein exceeded expectations by a long shot. Calling him a fake Knicks is repulsive.

Good luck Isaiah

its the amount of time he missed that fuels the thoughts for concern CS...Hopefully Mitch plays his most games and has his healthiest season.

He needs to drop some weight

Thibs needs to manage his minutes

Fingers crossed, because there is nobody in the game better on the offensive glass than Mitch. He potentiates our offense with all of those second chances.

I dont know Mitch so ths is all speculation but I wonder if he really knows how much "basketball" has to be on his mind and agenda
to be/reach his full potential....This is his opportunity to shine. Our weakness is now at center CS and Mitch could dig in...put his trucks aside...have a conversation with his wife/babymother/girlfriend and have an offseason where he lives in the gym...gets the best trainers...strenght and conditioning coaches...etc etc...

Seeing that video montage I recalled some of the blocks but I forgot just how many good defensive stands he made against Embiid.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

ppl are actually angry about a career backup that:

1/ came here to be a backup

2/ when asked to start due to injury, played at starter level and exceeded everyones expectations

3/ proved as a starter he does multiple things and isn't 1 dimensional

4/ got paid

I mean what else are athletes supposed to do? he did his job and got paid. congrats to him the nba makes dreams happen.

in Mitchs rookie year he guarded Embiid so well that Embiid mentioned it in his post interview...I will never forget that.

Can we get Precious back and call it the day?

Most blocked 3-point shots last season by a big man:

10 — Precious Achiuwa
9 — Victor Wembanyama
8 — AD, Turner, Naz Reid

No threes allowed ❌
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

The only issue I have here is if it was Mitch vs iHart, Precious, Deuce, and the 189 cap.
Having said that, if we can still finesse something here to go up to the 189 hard cap, then keeping Mitch aka our best answer to Embiid was always a must.

Without him we wouldn't have been 2nd seed after Mitch went down, but ESP after Randle went down... there's a stretch of 5-6 games he was pulling down 15rpg, maybe THE REASON we were leading the league in offensive rebounding... and gave us fans thrills and gave the team hope and optimism for the extra possessions!!! Replacing a CHEAP center like IHart who rebounds like Rodman and passes like Magic would be tough this loss hurts

I'm gonna be salty about it but, it was fun until it wasn't. He played his ass off for us and he got offered a crazy amount of money and probably a bigger role offensively than he has here. Fuq him. POS GOLDDIGGER!!

It’s not so much about Mitch being the starting center… he just comes with a health concern. 82 games under thibs isn’t a walk in the park and he’s shown to be injury prone

Philly probably lost 2 games due to Mitch frustrating the hell out of Embiid to point Embiid injured him in retaliation. I will leave it to karma to set Embiid straight

We pretty much have to keep Mitch now unless he gets packaged with Randle for a star big which is not likely to happen

Don’t know why anyone is angry…IHart was not effective in the playoff .in fact he often stagnated the offense, his defensive iq is highly questionable…I have the sequence of him putting his hand on embiids waist and getting called for a foul three times in a row is indelibly marked in my thoughts of him…
