Without Divo knicks don't get as far as they did in the playoffs.

On depleted team he stepped up and losing him sucks. We do have players here worth rooting for still.

Fck Diva. He can kiss my ass after yesterday. You wanna whine to the press, be my guest. But to cause the ruckus he did going after Rick Brunson (wasn't Diva Jalen's best man at his wedding?) was stupid.

As fans we often forget that these guys are human beings, and emotions can get the best of us, especially at times that aren't ideal.

The fact that he was hurt about being traded says more to me about how he wanted to be here to ball out than anything negative. I hope him and Rick will squash it, I know JB had to feel mad uncomfortable last night.

High emotions. It sucks that if we win, Donte won't be there for the ride. I am sure that we'd give rings to Randle and Donte, but it would not be the same.

True example of pour some out because winning won't be as sweet without some of the key pieces that made the Knicks what they were last year.

Can you help me to understand what I am missing from the context of last night's game that was so out of line please? I know the internet was being the internet and initially reported that Donte said "Thanks for the trade Thibs" but once we found out that he actually said "He can't finish, right Thibs?" after finishing at the rim what is the problem? I assume it was a comment about the scouting report since we all watched Donte blow shots at the rim last year.

Was the problem that he was talking with the bench during a pre-season game? Was it when he said "That's what happens when they let you run the show"? Was that a reference to Rick Brunson or someone else calling shots behind the scenes? Was Donte talking about how he is able to have more offensive responsibilities in Minnesota now?

At the end of the game the only person that was upset was Rick Brunson. Not Donte. Not Jalen. Not Mikal. Not OG. Not Othella Harrington. Just Rick. Do you know why he was upset and why is it **** Donte now? What am I missing? I feel like I missed some video clips or some interviews or the internet is just being the internet again.

Perhaps but Jesus. You guys are severely overrating this guy who started the season behind Quinten Grimes. Relax. He isn't the guy who would've saved our season. I liked him when he was here but netween ShamPayne we will most definitely pick up the shooting gap and Deuce-the untouchable does seem to be stepping up his offensive game. That's not to say he was overrated while here but let's move on. There'll be 5 DVCs over the next 5 yrs.

I'm not excusing his behavior, that was absolutely unprofessional and it put Jalen is a horrible spot to where one of his best friends and his Dad are cussing each other out in public.

I am just saying i think emotions got the best of him in the heat of the moment and he lashed out. He was wrong for that, and he's also human. The situation sucks.

Can someone please explain to me what Donte said that was so crazy? I'm still confused why some people are reacting the way they are including Rick Brunson.

I don't know what was said when they had their direct skirmish. All I saw was Jalen's face and my heart sunk. That was awful

I know Donte said he wears his heart on his sleeve after the game but what did he do that was so unprofessional? Say "That's what happens when they let you run the team"? What does that mean? Are we just reacting to Rick Brunson's reaction? Seriously, what am I missing?

Someone should tell ESPN that we won. Divo “exploded” to score less than OG, the same as Mikal and 2 more than Shamet. Their analysis sounded like Minny had a blowout win.

I hate everyone who doesn't play for the Knicks. Sorry his feelings are hurt. Make a scene in public then you have to deal with their response. He wasn't acting like a grown man. He was acting like a bytch. He gets treated like one then. If I was a Minnesota fan I would defend him. I'm not. Keeping it real.

I don't give aid and comfort to the enemy. Period. Donte acted like a bytch at the FT line where everyone could see. You think that's cool? I don't. Rick didn't. We don't even know what Rick said to him but, we know Donte was throwing verbal jabs at his friend's dad and OUR TEAM. Puffing up while he was far enough away not to get knocked tf out. Bytch made. He brought this on himself running his mouth like that.

This is a business. Players know that. It sucks he was traded but, he acted like he could say and do whatever he wanted. Apparently Rick didn't agree. Then he played tough guy knowing he could get away with it. Donte is not innocent here.

If he wants to act like a cry baby, he can deal with the heat he brought on himself. Acting like he was joking? He wasn't smiling when he ran his mouth. Did I mention he is the opponent now? Thanks for the memories. That doesn't give you a free pass to disrespect my team. End of story.

Lol, didn't you overreact when it was first reported that Donte said "Thanks for the trade Thibs" calling him a liar when he said he didn't say that? Later it was shown that he actually said "He can't finish, right Thibs" after finishing at the rim something he struggled with at times on the Knicks.

"Thanks for the trade Thibs. That's what happens when they let you run the show" makes sense together.

Finishing at the rim and then jabbing Thibs about the scouting report saying "He can't finish, right Thibs?" makes sense.

"He can't finish, right Thibs? That's what happens when they let you run the show"" doesn't make sense to me. Can someone fill in the blanks for me. I'm lost.

For all I know that little conversation at the free throw line was no big deal and then the teams went into the lockerroom at the half, checked their phones and saw what Donte supposedly said about Thibs trading him and Rick felt the need to confront.

Does anyone actually know what the hell happened or is it just all pure speculation?

He stood on a soap box and disrespected our team. That's all that matters. I called myself out for being wrong when better audio was revealed. It doesn't change the fact that an opponent talked shyt to my team and went in on his friends father like it was ok. It isn't rocket science. I don't support opposing teams players. Ever.

Ok but can you explain to me how he went in on his friend's father? I assumed his initial comments about not being able to finish after finishing at the rim were directed to Thibs which I don't see as disrespectful. Do you think the "that's what happens when they let you run the team" was directed to Rick? What do you think that means and why is it so offensive in your mind?

Are you just basing your reaction off of Rick's reaction or do you know something I don't? I'm truly curious since I see many accusations being thrown around but no one has been able to explain what actually happened. I feel like there has been new audio released that I missed or something.

Damn just watched this clip, they didn’t talk about KAT’s 16/16, OG lighting everyone up, Brunson’s 24, of course they gonna choose to talk about edwards’ 31 cause the wolves have no one else that showed up last night tf… espn so trash man

Thanks for your addition to the conversation. You cleared things up for me. Don't worry. I found a previous quote in reference to Rick Brunson using almost the exact same words Donte used. I could continue to blindly speculate but I really don't know so I will move on.

I'm lost.

For all I know that little conversation at the free throw line was no big deal and then the teams went into the lockerroom at the half, checked their phones and saw what Donte supposedly said about Thibs and Rick felt the need to confront.

Does anyone actually know what the hell happened or is it just all pure speculation?

I'm basing my reaction on the fact that he was barking like a poodle at our team. I don't care about anything else at this point. He was running his mouth for all to hear. He is acting like a scorned ex. He was talking to Thibs then he was talking to someone else on our bench. Why people think any of that is acceptable on his part is beyond me. He's the enemy now. He gladly accepted that role with his actions. You can be his friend if you want. I don't like anyone who is on the other team. OAKAAK does not matter to me. He was a big mouth and now he is big douche.

How did he go in on his friends father? Did you not see him being pushed away from the altercation? That's all I needed to see. He wasn't respectful to Rick in that exchange. If he just STFU and walked away maybe it would matter to some but, he didn't. He kept chirping.

Again. For the last time. I hate everyone in the NBA who doesn't play for the Knicks. He doesn't play here anymore. He is now the enemy. It's not that complicated. Fuq him. Fuq Randle. Fuq RJ. Fuq IQ. TRIPLE FUQ SHART! Fuq Charlie Brown Jr too!

No one gets a pass.
