Could be a Lisfranc type of injury.

I’ve been saying this for months, if not years in this forum, I’ve been beating the drum over and over. Increased minutes causes increased wear and tear on ligaments, tendons, joints and bones. I’m quite literally a doctor for my profession, yet people will say “oh OG didn’t play a lot tonight before the injury happened” but when you look at the totality of minutes he’s played over the season, he’s already worn down those ligaments over time. This is why minutes matter.

And yet a good amount of people here still defend Tom.
He could and should have used the bench more, develop them for a few minutes here and there, even though it would cost us a game here or there.
Instead, we get longer injuries which end up costing us more wins than developing e.g. Pacom would have. And most of us have been saying this. We all saw OG lumbering around out there a week or so ago. And it affected his shot.
And come playoffs there is a real danger we are toasted before it begins.
Thibs is killing us…slowly.

Worst case, lisfranc tear requiring surgery, just like the injury that kept Chet out
Best case, mild sprain of that lisfranc ligament, get the swelling down, comes back in 3-4 weeks

Do we know its to do with the lisfranc ligament for sure?

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if PAC somehow gets forced to play now, and develops?

I swear, he’s nothing like this in real life.

Nah we don’t, but from the way he moved, and view of the injury, and the fact that he was able to walk off, lends more to a foot ligament/ lisfranc rather than the Achilles
From the way he was able to walk off the court, you have to think its a foot injury, because he wouldn’t not be able to really walk had it been the Achilles
Now the severity of the of the lisfranc sprain is what we are waiting on

Sprained foot can be so many differing levels of severity. At least the all star break is coming up (and Mitch hopefully back soon).
