Nah it’s not CAA and they scouted Beauchamp heavily a few years ago before the draft. This is probably a legit “kick the tire” move for them.

I get at this point all that can be done are bandaid type of moves. I just don’t think these guys need a mentor. The main guys have been in the league what 7-8 years. All the starters besides Hart have at least been to the conference finals and been part of good playoff teams.

The Knicks need guys who can play.

The FO didn't spend a rooster spot on Beauchamp. He's on a two-way deal and that has no effect on roster spots. Getting Brown right now (rather than, for example, when Tucker's 10-day contract is up) world necessitate cutting Wright.

Knick season ended awhile ago but it really was over once KATs knee acted up from Thibs overuse and Brunson’s ankle fell apart from thibs riding him like a cheap horse for over 3 years. Probably ruined his career moving forward
