For years I would open up the PG after each game to find post after post of trade ideas but those have diminished considerably this year. Its most likely because the majority of us want to give this current squad a fair chance because of the sheer amount of talent and potential it has. It seems so obvious to many of us on what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. I really hope we get to see this team truly unlocked but until then we can just sit here and pretend to be flabbergasted on how we lose to teams like the Spurs without their two best players.

Well the other thing is that we now have very few assets to even make a trade so there are limited possibilities compared to years past

I am happy with the team. I don't see a championship this season but, it's still kinda fun rooting for a miracle. Thibs or not we still need another piece or two to get us over the hump. We are close. After the majority of 25 years being the worst team in the league, this is awesome. Some of us think the coach needs to go. Others think the roster needs tweaks. Others are just always angry. One thing is certain, we are talking about trying to win a title instead of trying to tank for players. I'll take it.

Knicks start down 13, get back in it to get within 4 in the second quarter, go down again by 19 in the 3rd, get back within 5 with three minutes left, and lose by 12.

All because Thibs. Just watch.

I see championship this season. We have the team to beat Boston, Cleveland and OKC.

Said this last Summer before the KAT trade. My main concern with a KAT trade (outside cap flexibility) was trusting ISO-heavy-Thibs to maximize KAT and that's basically where we are.

This is genuinely the first season where I feel like our record is not as good as our talent.
Talent is elite, should be right there with Celtics and anyone. We are not.

Really, our bench is actually pretty good, just not getting floor time and since we over-do in-game, we don't practice which makes that problem worse.

Love Thibs, but if he doesn't want to adapt and actually accept that he has a team that doesn't need to treat the regular season like the playoffs game 7, then we do need a new voice. IDK if Jay Wright is actually an NBA level coach, but I do know our NovaKnicks would be comfortable playing for him.

Bickerstaff is doing a great job with the Pistons...

In fact, he could do more with our squad than Thibs can right now

i was responding to the post above me that said we have a good bench. we don't.

but every year on this forum for the last 20 years, the coach (whoever it is), is a moron for not playing the fringe guys at the end of the bench. mpharris you've been doing this too long to keep falling for this. c'mon man.
