I can't imagine it is a guaranteed contract even though they have been filling out the end of the bench for years with guys that will never play. Maybe he is the new Ryan Arcidiacono. We need more details on the contract.

So, is it possible that TJ Warren is the last day vet the Knicks sign?

That's what I'm saying. There is no one in the G-League that can have the Championship leadership impact PJ Tucker brings. Plus OG is thriving, and I would guess it's because of having PJ in his head coinciding with Brunson's absence.

Also, just imagine come playoff time and in preparation having PJ thugging it out with Thibs' 8-man rotation in practice. This is invaluable going against a rather thuggish group in Detroit.

I don't get the x/twitter post at all. The Knicks don't currently have a roster spot to sign anyone. And if they cut someone they can sign a player the day after tomorrow (I believe), or two players if they cut two players and wait until this time next week. The x-post seems lacking.

You really thought he was brought here to actually play, he is an extension of the coaching staff.

From everything i heard and read, the players and coaching staff love his leadership in the locker room

Bingo!
Can we attribute OG's transformation into a beast, to a direct result of PJ Tucker being in his head?

TJ Warren walked out on the G-League squad never to return.

I have no idea. PJ's deal is non guaranteed for next year. Moses might want a guaranteed deal next year, not sure about TJ, but . . . I don't know anything. I'm just guessing. PJ might have been more amenable to being used, or maybe Thibs wanted him. Not sure.

I doubt Moses Brown is turning down a raise. It's not really a big deal but, it is a weak move. The rotations are about to her even shorter anyway.

Really we have 0 Mitch insurance. Huk and Sims were something, but now we have no center, no paint protection for the non-Mitch minutes.
Thibs whole defense is based on having rim protection.

Watching tonight's game vs Philly, Brown could have subbed for Mitch instead of Precious and contributed more. Based on what I heard about his stint in Dallas
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Then add him to the coaching staff? We need a locker room presence who isn't going to play taking up a much needed bench slot? Oh...right... Thibs ain't playing anyone else. It's not like we have 3 B2BS in the last 8 games and a team limping into the playoffs again.

And what he's done in the G-league this season - given Philly were barely better than a G-league team.

But cheapo hits aside, surely Moses would be more useful than TJ. Or does OG need a "team-mate" rather than a "coach" to tell him to attack and use his body?

So you believe Moses Brown should get reps up here? Precious is getting ALL those minutes just because we haven't clinched yet.

I am saying ANY healthy game shape player that fills a bench need for now would be a better option than a guy who will never suit up. It's not that difficult to understand why a person would feel this way. Look how shorthanded we were tonight. We couldn't use a TJ Warren or. Moses Brown or one of any available player who has more than a pulse?

It's like holding on to Matt Ryan and Scrubi Toppin Jr half the season and never playing them either. For some reason every year we need to rely on our bench at some point and we waste roster spots on players Thibs will never play or flat out cannot play. We even had Guano on the bench for a year not playing. It's nothing new.

It just doesn't make much sense to me for multiple reasons.

Great job by PJ last night.

Is it too late to sign PJ Brown?
