Two weeks ago I had major cravings for bagels and lox. There are bagels in Florida, but it turns out the best ones were Ray's New York Bagels in the freezer section at Publix. Put them frozen in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes and they come out perfectly chewy crusty on the outside. Slice them down the middle where it is still soft and spread the cream cheese with chives and add slabs of Nova Scotia lox.

It wasn't Zabaars, but it was close.

Knicks have a fully healthy roster.

Get embarrassed by the Celtics and someone is gonna have to take the fall......the coach is always the first domino.

I think a few things matter.
1) Do the Celtics repeat?
2) Do the Celtics disband after they repeat?
3) Can we blame injuries/lack of time to involve "Starting center" Mitch?
4) can we blame chemistry? Need a full off-season to design an offense/defense around KAT/JB?

Yet, with all that you stated, the Knicks were still good enough to have the 5th best record in the league, 3rd best in the east, right?

Then the Knicks should either win a hard fought series vs the Celts, or at the very least not get embarrassed like getting swept or blown out every game losing 4-1.

Matchups make fights. Against the Pistons, they have been letting both teams play physical. Every game against Boston there was an element of refs killing us. I have to see the HOW to judge it. Celtics never set stationary screens. Tatum likes to use his off-hand to create contact/stiff arm defenders. We have to do our part to make them pay for their screens, but at the end of the day, if the Celtics are allowed to have uncontested shots with ease because of playing with a different rule book, then I can't be that mad. They make all of their open shots against us, they get up to play us. They are playing with their food in Orlando. Yes they are "Banged up" but I am not sure how serious these injuries are. KP was like 0-100 from 3 so far in the series. That's not who he is.
OTOH, if we are being beaten, out classed, and they are cutting back door/getting easy looks against what looks like lazy defense ... what can I say?
If we don't take advantage of KAT having size/girth (pause) in the paint, that's on us (coaching).

I don't think Celtics can match our physicality, especially while not having Jrue.

That's why I said WHEN KAT & Mitch are on the floor together, put him on KP.

KAT is not bad as a man defender on the perimeter as Jokic found out.

Leaving KAT to drop defend the paint is not a good idea of course, but the biggest difference the last two games is EVERYONE playing defense in unison which has been a problem this season. Half hearted switches were killing us earlier. If you're going to switch well it takes everyone being in sync. Or play your man tight and fight the screens. Boston will seek to exploit match-ups, but we were the problem to begin with. The last two games have been a real improvement defensively.

You play Mitch along with KAT and put him on KP. Games will be more like the last game we played them in then any other. Hopefully they let the physical play go it like they have thus far(magic are annoying the hell out of the Celtics, look at brown complaining). Knicks can cause missmatches for the Celtics as well.
