Indianas ball pressure cut the head off the snake. Brunson couldn’t get around Nembhard at all and we struggled getting our stars going. OG did his thing carrying but we needed more from our stars. KAT missing free throws he had zero rhythm on offense and was bad but not as bad as Brunson.

They killed us off of turnovers and even off of makes they would score off leak outs in a second and killed off our runs whenever we tried to make a push.

We fought hard but it wasn’t meant to be. Fun season, best in a long time. Thank you

Guys here will think it is cute to sh*t only on KAT when this would have been a sweep without him. Loss was on the team as a whole, primarily on Thibs. Cap JB did not have a good series as well.

We were still among the last 3 teams standing even with a new team. Chin up guys and be respectful to one another.

I looked at this season this way...

We've gutted our assets and depth for 1-2 additional wins in the regular season. We were expecting to be at least the 2nd seed. That dind't happen and regular season was underwhelming.

However, our expectation was also to make it to the ECF... we did that.

I don't know what think of Thibs cuz he met the expectation of getting to the ECF without depth but went back to his old ways.

"Good" season. It's a season where this team made the same mistakes over and over again. It's bittersweet they lost this way.

We went from being a ferocious rebounding and defensive team to a scrambling, Russian roulette defensive team because of Kat. And his offense doesn't offset how bad he hurts us on the defensive end.

Leon preemptively blew his load on a perennial underachiever. Leon needs to swallow his pride and pivot from Kat if at all possible this off season.

Thibs kept sitting KAT & Brunson at the same time. Just a weird thing to do when you’re facing elimination.

But Thibs gonna Thib.

Leon has to see this and has to look at new coaches for next season.

This hurts. Happy for him, but if he stays, we don’t do the KAT trade and are a much better team IMO.
