Man, you love twisting things around. What happened to Crawford in the fourth quarter of the SAS game? IT told him to "get in the game" mentally.
Last night against Houston, past the second quarter JC was not mentally into the game. He needed to get more active and take more shots. This doesn't apply to every game, but last night he did a disappearing act.
I don't want to hear anything about Zach's stats

1. By putting those stats up there, I'm just defending my point that Crawford is part of the overall problem with the starting lineup. But when you see a guy, with the right attitude, whose a nice humble, who has a ton of talent, contributing the same percent of inneficient shooting as Zach Randolph, I think that tells you something. Not the whole story. But proof, that Jamal isn't where he needs to be right now.
2. I disagree that he has been above average at SG. My basis is his inability to score efficiently.
3. If you want to make Jamal a PG, fine by me. I thought he played his best last season when he was pointguard coupled with Nate Robb as SG.
4. I don't get why you think I'm equating Crawford with Randolph. Crawford's play has got me frusturated this year. I realize a big aspect is the fact that the whole team is a fiasco, but that's not an excuse for his shooting percentage. I want to send Randolph on the first bus out of town. In the long run, I think Crawford is a useful sixth man. His shooting isn't consistent enough to merit playing SG and he's not the kind of point guard capable of really orchestrating a top offense. In a defined system, he could be very valuable as a sixth man, a Leandro Barbosa. I wouldn't mind Derrick Rose, Nate Robinson rotation with Crawford off the bench.
That said, I am not satisfied where he is right now, and I think he could be so much more. I reserve my right to be frusturated with him. We will agree to disagree at least on this point.
I think any sane party can agree that Randolph needs to GTFO.
question: what role do you see Jamal playing on a contending team? What elite teams in the nba could you see him playing for? Which ones would he be a starter on?
