LARRY SANDERS

Surprisingly, this actually was not an overly difficult selection. The Bucks actually thought about taking Sanders with our last pick, but decided there was a much better chance of him still being on the board here. Lo and behold, here he is. We're extremely excited to welcome Larry on board to an already dynamic squad. We believe he brings exactly what this team needs in the front court. He is a young, talented big who can block shots with the best of them, has great size, brings energy, and will be an absolute ideal fit to learn under Pau Gasol and Kevin Garnett. More importantly, he will be a great guy to work in right away whenever KG needs a rest and can give the team a nice shot of energy, especially defensively in the low post. With the team we've already compiled at this moment, being able to add the #15 pick in the draft, a guy who can play the four or five and is known largely for his defense is something we're very pleased to be able to do. We see big things for Larry Sanders, and his impressive Summer League only helped cement our impression of the man. For the second straight pick, the Bucks are very pleased to be able to keep one of our own, as we welcome to the squad Mr. Larry Sanders.

^ It seems there was an error made on my behalf when positng the trade. Smoke's 12th round selection is #334 NOT #387 which is his 13th....So the Hornets actually acquired pick #334.
