They just showed the Toronto game-winner game on NBATV, the Dallas game just started. I'm enjoying watching these again, the first time around I was so focused on Lin that I didn't appreciate all the big plays by his teammates.

Even Heat star Dwyane Wade thinks Lin is making the right decision.

"Obviously every player is different, but I think with a player like him who has a bright future, even though he can probably get out there and play, he's not going to be as effective as he wants to be and he might do further damage," he said. "I thought that (Mike Woodson) did a great job saying he wasn't ready. Us as players, we always feel we're ready. We're ready to be on the court and working out. Oh god.. give me a break. No one with a rational mind would have put their career in jeopardy if they were in Lin's shoes. Maybe someone who has never played the game or never had a chance to earn money playing the game. 99.9% of the athletes in America would have done the same thing in his shoes. But hey great minds think alike.. in this case you and Stephen A. Smith.

Well let me quiz you now......

Do you believe Lin when he said he wanted to play, and the team and owner told him no?

I have no way of knowing that's true or not.

But at the time I could see an owner with a valuable asset saying that.

What I noticed was that Fields was actually playing respectable ball and that you can tell Chandler loved playing with Lin. But you can also see times where Lin runs the P&R really good... he shows nice patience and he's good at letting things marinate as we used to call it on the playground something that a lot of young PG's need to learn like John Wall specifically.

I don't know. I wasn't there.

What I do know is Lin had surgery... he wasn't 100% healthy.. he had not only no short term financial security but he had no long term security and that series was no where near competitive. Those are facts.

What are you talking about? Goran was drafted in '08 and didn't even become a starter until this pass year.

That doesn't mean he is not more experienced than Lin is. You still get the same player development coaches, strength training coaches, practices, etc. Dragic also spent a few years learning from Nash...do you know how helpful that would be to ANY point guard?

Even though he just became a starter this year, he has A LOT more experience than Lin does.

A big thing people need to remember in this dragic lin debate is that dragic wasn't as scouted as heavily as lin was. Also dragic had his starts towards the end of the season by the times teams actually worked to scout him and take advantage of his weaknesses he slowed down a lot. and the rockets were poised to make the playoffs but they went on a 7 game loosing streak. dragic and lin are not that far off and i would say Lin is better because his numbers are so comparable to dragic and yet Lin has had a third of the experience dragic had. but that is just me

i'm sure melo, chandler, dolan did tell him he shouldn't play if he didn't feel he could. but as long as he was cleared by the doctors, and he was practicing, nobody would stop him if he wanted to.
