You're so right. A'mare is a failure and the Knicks will be a failure because of A'mare. Let's root for them to lose so we can tell everyone, "I told you so."

because amare has been such a success for us in NY

I don't root for the knicks to lose

Nope, A'mare has been a failure and it's much more gratifying to expect him to continue being a failure than actually have any sort of hope that he could turn it around this year. It's better to expect the worst out of him rather than hoping for the best because Knicks fans need to be realists.

And hell, before the 2005 draft, our best draft was probably the 1985 draft when we took Patrick Ewing & Gerald Wilkins.

I have NO IDEA why we are so terrible at drafting. It makes me wonder if there's a team that has a worst history of draft picks than we do lol

not cool. :-?

It's not cool, but through all the different regimes/philosophies we've had in place in the front office since 1985, we've had some pretty abysmal drafts. I've never understood it. And I never understood why during the Ewing era that we didn't build a better team through the draft. Hell, 2 of our best players in that era came from the CBA - John Starks (undrafted) and Anthony Mason (who had brief stints in New Jersey & Denver before coming here)...

So you mean to tell me the best we could do in the draft in the 90s was.....

1990 - Jerrod Mustaf (could've had Elden Campbell, Toni Kukoc, Dee Brown)
1991 - Greg Anthony (could've had Rick Fox, Dale Davis or Chris Gatling)
1992 - Hubert Davis (could've had Latrell Sprewell, PJ Brown, Sasha Danilovic)
1993 - NO PICKS!
1994 - Monty Williams & Greg Anthony (We picked the best guys available, to be honest, but could've picked Howard Eisley)
1995 - NO PICKS
1996 - John Wallace, Dontae Jones, Walter McCarty (could've had Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Derek Fisher, Jerome Williams, Othella Harrington, Moochie Norris, Malik Rose, Shandon Anderson)
1997 - John Thomas (Could've had Jacque Vaughn, Marc Jackson, Stephen Jackson)
1998 - WORST DRAFT EVER? We took Sean Marks & DeMarco Johnson (Could've had Rafer Alston, Cuttino Mobley, Jahidi White, Greg Buckner)
1999 - WORST DRAFT EVER PT. 2??? We took Frederic Weis & JR Koch (Could've had Ron Artest, James Posey, Jeff Foster, AK47, Manu Ginobili)
2000 - WORST DRAFT EVER PT. 3???? We took Lavor Postell & Donnell Harvey (Could've had DeShawn Stevenson, Eddie House, Michael Redd)
2001 - WORST DRAFT EVER PT. 4????? We took Michael Wright & Eric Chenowith (Could've had Earl Watson, Bobby Simmons, Jarron Collins)

I'm gonna stop there lol. I'm gonna make a thread about this.

This is stupid. Galloway isn't making the squad, right? Why is he on the floor?

But everyone knows he's going to Westchester... it just doesn't make sense to give him so much burn unless Phish is seriously considering cutting/trading Prigs or Larkin.
