Why would we trade him to you?
You have no players we want outside of Kawhi.

Why would the Knicks back out of a deal for Kyle Lowry?

You would be taken Tommy too? I do like Siakam and would have loved him in a return deal for KP but a lot is still left to be determined. If the cap space we created lands us KD plus another high caliber player then that trumps any offer you had. Plus we got DSJ and the two future picks

Yeah but you guys won’t have room to take on the other bad contracts we got rid of. Will your gm also give us picks? Plus DSJ is younger and has a higher ceiling than Siakam. I like our deal more than what you guys have to offer. It wouldn’t have worked out well for us if we traded KP to you
