So the SIM developers base SIM Defense Ratings on STEALS per game.

Ben Simmons led the NBA in SPG this past season.

He's 23 years old, 2 time All-Star, and DPOY candidate. If you know me, you know how much I love Ben, but my roster construction is a choppy fit for him. Simmons gotta play pace ball, and my offense is GRIND with Embiid.

For the record, Melton wasn't on my team. I was just scouring FA and noticed that the SIM ratings don't match up with my perception of players and that jaded my intrigue in being an active GM.

FYI: I will prioritize bringing my players back. That means Sabonis, Aldridge, Lou Will and Jerami Grant. If you want them you’re gonna have to pay top dollar. I have bread, bird rights, and a high FA destination rating. Just putting that out there. I value my guys!!!

I’d love nothing more than that. Plus, my new franchise player have requested that I bring them back. I have a feeling there’s a storm coming to the West, so I’m preparing for war.
