Those witless fuktards Loeffler and Perdue opened up a can of blowback whuppass when they made a public challenge for Raffensperger to step down for doing their job in the face of the laughable Trump fraud accusations.

And he isn't taking their chit as he's shown by exposing Graham for very overtly illegally tampering with the election.

At the rate the GOP is going they can either become 100% committed to lies and fraud all the time 24/7 or not. That's why you have internal warfare going on because not every lifelong Republican signed up for this Trumpist BS. Some of them fought in combat and lost buddies defending the constitution.

Don't worry, I'm not writing a love poem about Republicans. I think the GOP is basically a criminal organization at this point, but this GA run-off election surely could be one of the last stands for anyone to claim any kind of moral ground within that godforsaken party. So I expect more clashes between the toadies who push Trump's fraud lies and the rest who want to put it to rest and try to compete and win an election without this cloud of BS hanging over the campaign.

One thing is pretty clear. The more these fukwits push the fraud angle the more they're going to energize the Democrat turnout, so frankly I don't really care since it will just continue to deepen the trouble people like Graham are already in.

I agree with everything you say and yet we could lose both races.

I wasn't commenting on the race odds though, just the bizarre tensions of the GOP. I do hope they do have their own party civil war and that also helps Ossoff and Warnock, but I'm not predicting that.

I do think there will be repurcussions though when the new DoJ is installed.

A lot depends on how the current two parties each roll the next four years.

A third or fourth party is inevitable, though the question then may not be whether they'll be competitive quickly, but which of the two parties they'll drain more votes from

WTF is wrong with these people? They're stressing me out, man. I feel like Bruce Banner before he turns into The Hulk ... except that I can't.

I've been laughing their BS off and I suggest you do too.

Like the human cabbage who tried to pull rank in Wayne County. Really? So a MAGA was going to start an elector revolution that sweeps the land? GTFO! The Michigan SoS still gets to certify the whole state, yet people going bananas like that knuckle dragger was about to throw the election results? Nah, save your breath

So just chill about the election theft BS. Not happening. You're good at finding things to be pissed at so find something worth your ire. This election fraud nonsense and the dummies pushing it just doesn't cut it

I still agree that all of this BS is bad for democracy since a third of this country are certified cabbage brains and they can't tell truth from fiction. But I'm not going to waste my precious anger on it

Oh, so you're calming me down? If so, then you and I are both in big trouble.

It's not that I think they'll be successful it's more that they don't believe in anything "we" believe in because we're on the "other" team. It's Americans who don't believe in democracy, in science, in treating their neighbors with respect and humanity. That Facebook thread I read tonight was really upsetting and also Frontline had an episode on PBS last night on COVID and the election which further highlighted the nonsense that is going on here. They're all cult members and it's out of control and no one is being held accountable. Everything's a mess.

Yeah, I agree. When I wave off attempts due to their impossibility it doesn't mean I don't appreciate how FUBAR this has become

The whole party before country problem has mutated into something even sicker and hard to reconcile with what we'd consider "normal" in terms of decency and basic social values. This conspiratorial, anti-science mindset is downright medieval to the point there are now a large bloc of Americans who could be cast as a Monty Python witch hunting mob

You said it was just a ruse and a grift.

Now you're pivoting to "they won't be successful" now that they've done multiple attempts.

No one ever said they'd be successful.

It's rare we get moving of the goalposts and a straw man argument in one take.

They're legitimately trying it and Republicans have decided to give him leeway to try. If it looks like he can pull it off, they will let him. They are willing to throw away what we have left of democracy to let Trump steal an election he lost just so they can stay in power

This seems like the kind of behavior that should enrage all Americans regardless of who they voted for. I guess the Trump supporters really do believe there is some conspiracy and widespread cheating going on, no way that many people would support the country changing our form of government away from Democracy.

I don't know why you think this is a last word sort of thing, but whatever

I was wildly explicit multiple times that I don't care about what they attempt because they won't succeed while simultaneously agreeing it was damaging for future public perception and discourse on electoral matters.

And yes it is a ruse and grift. Trump steals money from his donors. Let the loonies take their left field moonshots while you take their contributions. It all fits together

He's a narcissist just like all the others. They have no connection to science, facts, and reality. Let them all move to Arkansas. By the way, the "IGNORE" button is our friend. He got banned for the CA thread, so he thought he could come here and pander his BS. I gave him rope and then let it out more than a few times. No more. He's an ignoramus.

I have to imagine anyone who can type well enough and press the "Submit" button knows the election has already been called and it's just a matter of time before certification eliminates any room for doubt. So any argument remaining is basically just trolling. Right? Right?
