1. He’s a better shooter than RJ
2. Too many exclamation points.

Would choose the Cavs’ roster over ours. Sad.

Mobley is a franchise changing talent, complete winner.

Yup. One of those players where you stop whatever it is you're doing and build your team around him no questions asked.

I was on record as wanting us to draft Hunter over RJ.
But everyone told me that Hunter wasn't a playmaker blah blah blah.Free Palestine

Cleveland have been more relevant than the Knicks since 74. They have more championships and Finals appearances than us in the last 48 years.

Re: Around the NBA part 2 - Save Melo from Brodie
knicks board:
Ricky Rubio (shoots 38% from the field and might be THE mediocre PG of the last 10 years) WHY DID WE NOT TRADE FOR HIM????
Deandre Hunter (the 6-7th best player on a 4-9 Hawks, averaging 10 points a game) HOW DID WE PASS ON HIM?????
never change, guys.

Re: Around the NBA part 2 - Save Melo from Brodie
In terms of upside, the debate was really about RJ vs Garland for me.
Garland might've been the consensus #2 or #3 pick if he hadn't gotten hurt.
I think he has the 2nd highest ceiling after Zion from that draft class.

I don’t like Garland that much but I’d rather have him than RJ at this point. At least you’re getting a solid PG who can shoot. But would rather have Tyler Herro over both

Knicks never get drafting 100% right
They have either outright fails like Frank and Knox, or safe "meh" picks like RJ and Obi, where maybe trading back would have been the REALLY smart move, but stuff like that is outside their abilities. I get this is more than one FO.
The KP draft might have been the "best" one, in that they scouted up KP and kind of did the smart thing as he was one of the last players left with real talent. Know, really, really getting it right would be knowing that Booker was the real deal or that, maybe, Myles Turner was safer, but hindsight.
I mean, it's all hindsight, but Knicks never find that better guy. Or seem to know when the draft is "meh" so trade back and get a future pick or another pick in the draft etc.
I guess I'm glad the FO has gone from terrible to mediocre (thought that is TBD too)
