I'll be fair and say it was a good argument from a tank perspective, not from a winning perspective tho

the argument we would win more was silly too. that was the tied into the obi argument.

i don't even think obi will play in the playoffs to be honest. he's gonna play 8 players instead of 9 i would guess.

he will play but you are right about the 8 ... 8 mintues

i doubt it. teams look for weak links on d in the playoffs to expose and he is one a lot. he'll just let hart play some 4.

He had one nice block and other than that couldn't stay in front of Strus at all.

Doesn’t feel authentic. I’m starting to think he’s playing up this Knicks angle to advance his career. He knows Knicks fans will gravitate to him and it’ll lead to increased visibility, credibility, and clicks / engagement.

He's been gassing us and Brunson all year. Maybe it's his part but it's not new

Yeah Perkins been on the bandwagon for 3 years now. He said Randle was a stud years ago and while everyone was clowning the Brunson move, he was the only one saying otherwise.

Give me a little bit of the crow. I wanted Randle traded but said before the season started that I was back on the bandwagon and he will return to all star form

HerSports85 wrote:I hated everything about Randle last year. However I think he has a big year this season. He has the motivation to turn things around and a point guard that will make it easier on the court for him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s an all star. Put me back on the Randle bandwagon

tbh i was in the camp of, obi is capable of starting if we trade randle to uproot the infection. i still believe obi can be a starting pf in this league, and was always clear that me saying so didn't mean i thought he'd replace randle's individual talent level

zen randle is my king tho. bubble randle always felt like he was going to pop. zen randle feels real

Along with Thibs smirking fist bump tweet Knicks fans should also bookmark this tweet and watch it every morning

It's good medicine... Brunson is the Knicks' shaman that heals their soul.

Seems like Randle is just getting better and stronger as the season goes on. Complete opposite of his first season. His efficiency keeps going up. Really want him to solidify himself with a great playoff run. Hope we can pull off a couple of upsets

Hope RJ can find his stroke again. He only had about 1 or 2 wtf are you doing moments last night. He had a nice looking midd stepback and some good drives. He’s gotten better around the hoop. Dunno what they’re gunna do about his blinders tho. There’s no reason he should have less than 3 assist every night

Two 8 game win streaks in the same season. MID Teams don’t do that. We legit legit

I don't and honestly I don't know if he's even a good backup at this point. I mean he's had 3 years to carve out his spot here even as a impressive backup, like IQ did, and he's looking really rough out there lately

today is his birthday btw so he's 25 now, I realized this when I went to look up his age

sorry for crapping on him on his birthday

he's 25 guys this is who he is

Is it me or did it feel like that whole Miami stadium was cheering when Randle hit the game winner

Obi’s confidence is shot. The short leash has ruined him and he should just be traded at this point.

There was a time at the end of last season and the beginning of this one where Obi looked like he could overtake Julius, but we have done the opposite of empower him like we have Julius. Watch highlights from last season where Obi was way more assertive and aggressive. He barely even dunks anymore and guys dont pass to him on his cuts. He was a great finisher before and now he just shoots threes at a mediocre clip.

Theres an alternate reality where we traded Julius when Obi was drafted, and Im sure Obi would be a much better, more confident player if he got to start the last 3 years. This isnt 2K where guys reach their potential in Franchise mode regardless. They arent robots. How confident can he be out there when he plays 10 mpg no matter how he plays? He’s a flawed player, but hes in the worst situation for his development. Julius wouldn’t develop either if he played behind LeBron/AD or Ingram/Zion/Val.

Im with Im Coming Home in that we’re giving Julius props for playing how we wanted him to play. Last year he held the ball, sulked, played no D, took inefficient shots, was clearly struggling in his head etc. Brunson has been a huge factor in Julius’ resurgence not just from a game perspective but from a mental perspective in calming him down.

Julius is our guy now if he plays like this though. Posters know I like tough players and Julius is bulldozing guys out there. I sincerely respect his resurgence because it shows strength. He was about to be ran out of town, but he won us back again. Whatever you want to call it, Im genuinely enjoying his play these days.
