Now, I ain't a Gordon hater, but since when was Gordon considered a "great defender"? Decent and versatile, yeah. But he's also not asked to do much else out there. Green in the same boat but to a greater extend.

The better measure should be the number of All-Stars and/or All-NBA's on the team. Most had at least 2. And the teams that didn't have 2 had generational super stars. Golden State didn't win those championships with KD because of defense. Curry and KD were absolutely destroying people on the offense.

Sorry to say and no offense, but I find this to be very simplistic and shortsighted.

Prove the data is wrong, then. Because I find it naive that people are seeing KAT as some superior option over Randle.

They'll move both of them... and Time Lord as well... The tank is on for one more season then they'll try to rebuild like Houston is doing. They'll keep Sharpe & Ayton and hope they could add a guy like Cooper Flagg to the mix.

Awww... don't feel too discouraged. Nothing is happening (in public). Maybe Knicks fans are supposed to learn how to use this time to refocus on other pursuits, clear their minds of concerns about the NBA, and rest their competitive urges at least until training camp begins.

The numbers don't lie. Jerami Grant is worse than Randle in every key offensive metric except 3P% and FT%. He's so much worse of a shooter less than 10 feet from the basket that their TS numbers are almost identical. And he's worse defensively than Randle. No thank you.
