It would be alright, he’s definitely a plus-player at that salary. Frankly, it’s ridiculous to complain about the addition here and it would be foolish not to consider him at that cost or bitch about the fit with Towns. Mitch and Ayton would be a great center rotation.

A player can be bad at one price and good at another.

I dunno if Ayton would want to be here though. If I were him, I'd be looking for a team that could feature me and gives me shots so I could go back into the market after a year. Celtics on a cheap salary maybe. They got shooters, missing bigs, need someone to take shots.
