Jameer + Glen Davis for Bargs, THJ, cash, 2018 top-1 protected 1st?

Pablo | Ray | Beno
Nelson | Murray
Iman | Metta
Melo | G. Davis | Martin
Tyson | STAT | Tyler

I really think those two guys fill in a lot of our needs. Veteran presence, high I.Q, rebounding + defense, PG.

There's really no sense in this. Well be bitching about how Perkins is a fat useless piece of poo by weeks end. And well be doing it for the next two years. I know were upset but Perkins right now is one of the worst contracts in the NBA. He's been absolute horse poop for years now.

Nonsense, Perkins's value to a team is larger than cokehead's. I wouldn't include Tyler because it saves more money to OKC if he's not in the deal, but the savings alone in 2015 are worth it. Not to mention Perkins' veteran presence and toughness is something no one else on the team has.

Perkins for 10 minutes per game > cokehead for 20+ minutes per game

Perkins is poop...and he's a bitch. You know just because the player isn't on the Knicks doesn't mean he isn't a bitch right? Again we'll be hearing you and others bitch incessantly about him within a week of his arrival where looks like he has been for years...crap.

Perkins is a cheaper poop than cokehead and brings something no one else outside of Pablo does, intangibles whether he's on the court or off the court.

And how exactly has he shown those "intangibles"? If this was 2008 or 2009 then fine. But Boston is a long time ago and the only things he's been doing is sucking on the court and bitching off it.

Kendrick Perkins providing leadership that some said he couldn't

http://newsok.com/kendrick-perkins-prov ... le/3550500

Kendrick Perkins soothes egos, resolves issues in Thunder locker room

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--kendr ... 44932.html

Stats don't tell story for players like Thunder's Kendrick Perkins

http://articles.latimes.com/2012/feb/04 ... r-20120205

That alone is worth infinitely more than anything cokehead does for this team. On top of that, he's still an elite post and help defender and a great pick and roll defender and the synergy numbers back that up.

So the assaulting women off the court doesn't really matter right?

He's still a model citizen compared to cokehead and he doesn't bring his problems into locker room or on the court like him.

but for reals though, we'd have to fire woodson to make perk at least 10% useful on this team. As long as we're switching all the time on defense, he's pretty much useless

That tweet about things happening behind your back sounds like JR Smith after Da Gawd got dropped. :D

Posted this on the Magic board and it was a pretty unanimous yes, so I'd be interested to see what you guys think. I've changed it up a bit and made it a little more in our favor.

**This trade is done under the assumption that win now is NOT an option to the front office, which is pretty much guaranteed at this point. I'd like to blow it up as well, but if we want to salvage the season:

Davis, Nelson for Andrea, Felton, 2018 top-5 protected 1st, THJ, Cash

- save 2015 money
- try to aim for the 3 seed this year.

Chandler | STAT | Cole
Davis | Kenyon Martin | Tyler
Melo | Metta
Shump | JR | Toure
Jameer | Pablo | Beno

if the knicks aren't gonna trade melo and plan on re signing him, i think they need to move tyson for a young player or two with upside. there's gotta be a team willing to part with some good youth for a former DPOY, some playoff team at least.

Thunder's Adams. I believe he'll be a starter by next season. I'll take Perk if that means getting Adams. As a first year big he's averaging 15 min on a championship contender.

I'd take him, jackson, lamb or jones III, or a combination of any of those if they're gonna be generous. those m'fers can draft their asses off.

Sign Bynum. Trade JR and Chandler to Boston for Rondo and Wallace

Bynum/Bargnani
Amar'e/Kenyon
Melo/Wallace
Shump/THJ
Rondo/Murry

Tyler, Prigioni, MWP

Perkins is a problem. When he dont play he's upset. No matter how he is playing he'll demand it. Not a good caharacter too.
I mean **** perkins. I'll take bynum anyway.

Worst trade for rondo ever

Jr has negative value and if they trade rondo they're rebuilding. Why would they want chandler

They would want picks

Tyson would only have one year left on his contract and JR is a tank captain was my thinking. They were willing to take Amar'e to get rid of Humphries and Wallace's contracts

Return to New York Knicks
