Houston would be interesting. I guess all those reports of Melo getting D'Antoni fired were inaccurate.

I doubt we'll be able to move Noah, but that would be a great offseason if we do.

I don't see a good trade scenario for us from either team. And exchange between Houston and Cleveland would likely include love or Anderson and both players have 3 year deals. At that point I would rather keep Melo, and try to move him at the deadline.

If we included a 3rd team to take Anderson or love I would be all for it.

Only want Capela from Houston or Love from Cavs.

Cavs have no desirable 1st round picks or young assets that intrigue me. Houston I guess can give us their 2019 or 2020 1st rounder.

With Love, I think he can return putting up big numbers as a 1st/2nd option. We can build his trade value then flip him somewhere down the line. If we keep Love, I think KP and Love could work well together.

Not happening.

Teams wanted 2 1st rounders from Houston for Ryno and only 2 teams wanted Love and Denver signed Millsap while Phoenix started working on their tanks.

No way Morey gives up Capela, their starting C on a rookie contract. He knew what he has with the CP/Capella synergy.

I'm not as worried about Anderson's deal as most people are. Mainly because that sh*t better come with 2 first round picks from the Rockets (and someone on here said they can't trade any more picks till 2020 - which is when they will be a bad team). But also because he is serviceable and does some things well. His game won't fall off a cliff with age. And with contracts getting bigger every year, his deal will be movable in 1-2 years.

I could see Melo still hoping to stay with Knicks and show he's in great shape. And than Knicks exec's laugh it off prompting him to be open to a trade

So there is a market for Melo. Unfortunately both teams really don't have assets and I think the knicks shouldn't move Melo for scraps

CLEVELAND NY BOSTON. MAKE IT HAPPEN! Love to Boston. Houston would have to give multiple firsts or no deal. Boston has assets and they would take Love.

all the big free agents are pretty much gone and Mills has told agents he wants to sign younger players. Melo has been on the fence about leaving, but I think the way this free agency has started and the knicks unwillingness to make a splashy move has him leaning towards accepting a trade.

no. Anderson is due 60 mil over 3 years. It would mess up our cap situation in 2 years when KP has a small cap hold and is due for a extension. And Capella is about to get paid in a year too. Capella is not enough for getting anderson

As long as we end up with a good young player or a draft pick I'm fine with it. Melo isn't going to fetch all these "assets" you guys want. Come back to reality or prepare for disappointment that you created yourself
