Pelicans shouldn't make any deal with the Lakers. String them along until trade deadline, then ship him off somewhere else or keep him and not play him.

DSJ and Lonzo got the same problem Luka and DSJ had. Both are ball dominant, though it could work

Frank just seems like a really nice complimentary player. Yeah, he doesn't have star power, but he'll work off of guys really well, plus the defensive upside of a Lonzo/Frank backcourt is nuts, plus you'd also have Mitch on the interior

And really, DSJ has more value around the league as well

Which is exactly why I said this is all rigged for him to go to the Lakers ASAP. Paul (aka Lebron) knows the Lakers aren't topping Tatum so they're being adamant that he's not signing with Boston so the Pels feel pressured to move him to LA before the trade deadline. Even though the Pels really should hold on to him at least to see if The Knicks can get the #1 pick or if Boston ups the ante after the season. The last thing the Lakers want is a bidding war between them, the Knicks (if we get Zion), and Boston because they're 3rd out of 3 in that race IMO.

AD to LA means I would crave the number 1 pick for Zion even more. What other bigs are available via trade that are good enough to trade a non-Zion pick and prospects for, to present to a duo like Kyrie & KD?
