They said it was well known that Hali was available. Everybody knew.

Knicks should have traded Randle and added a pick. Would have made up for blowing the draft two years ago, and if the FO loves Obi so much and if any posters do, then you have Obi AND Haliburton.
With playing time freed up for Obi.

Oh well, Looking forward to more 38 minutes of Randle 10 of Obi games.

Looks like a good and efficient young player but idk about star. Not too athletic or strong and has a weird shot thats hard to get off.

If we could have gotten him for Julius, IQ, and such then sure, but giving up our whole team basically like some of u are saying is a joke lol.

Who said anything about giving up the entire team for him? I just think we could’ve beaten the Pacers’ offer.

We could not have beaten the Pacers offer. If Julius was playing like he did last year? Then maybe.

But Randle has completely cratered and become one of the least efficient players in the NBA. It's that bad. The Pacers wanted a young, established, all-star big to compete NOW, and Sabonis fit that bill. Randle wasn't even close.

So it doesn't matter what secondary/tertiary pieces were being added on the back end, because we couldn't come close to meeting the primary requirement.

Exactly. Sabonis was the centerpiece and hes just better and way less toxic than JuJu this year. Kings dont need anymore drama. We’d have to give up all our young guys and picks to even try to match, so all that for friggin Haliburton? Hes nice but ehhhhh.

Wall or Westbrook is prob the best Julius can do if we want shorter contracts.

Because it shows incompetence. Between this and them wanting to trade everyone they signed 7 months ago, how can anyone have confidence in this front office?

So if someone calls and says we are interested in Reddish and they don’t immediately slam the phone down that’s incompetence?

They are incompetent but being willing to hear an offer for a borderline g leaguer isn’t one of the reasons

Think about this logically, we're trying to move our trash signings from the summer, his name is coming up because teams are willing to take Burks/Nerlens/Kemba if we throw in a sweetener.

I wouldn't expect someone who thinks Nerlens is better than Mitch to be able to see the potential Cam has :o

I’m glad only the geniuses in the Knicks front office saw the potential I guess that’s why we got him for Knox and a near worthless pick

nah. the fanbase will hate him in no time. he'll be waived by next year's deadline. 1 year. that's all it is. and we get rid of randle/evan/kemba and get a 1st.

It's almost as if the way things have gone, worst-case scenario repeatedly including the hope before the last playoffs and to only have that blown to smithereens with the way things turned out, is the ONLY scenario that could have really tested Knicks fans this much. Hanging by a thread. Except buzz.

It feels like if you ran 100 scenarios, the one we're in would be like definitely worst 10 and maybe worst 1-5.

I can't wait til Haliburton levels off as a decent player/non-all star... so we can all sit back and reminisce on that one time this entire board wanted to trade the farm for him, 1.5 years after passing on him in the draft.

I'm not losing sleep over this kid. I'd rather shed salary. Trade Randle and Fournier for something that expires by summer '23, and I'll be satisfied. Keep Obi.

you think leon rose cares about what the fans think. randle told fans to stfu while they boo'd him and our front office has shown zero signs that they want to move him. they don't care

you know it's the truth. we only hear that the knicks want to move burks, fournier and kemba. not a single report says that we want to move him. and this man is praising dolan in interviews. it's obvious we're keeping him

Correct thats a good word for him.

But he also has to generate rumors because he has an SNY segment everyday so he says "he hears things" and the knicks are talking but he rarely says any specific rumors...just enough to get people to tune in but never anything of substance.

He hears the same things as this board. Just like Berman (sham)

So it’s true? Berman = Sham. Wow

Someone needs to get a hold of a platform to reach knicks fans that are attending the games or can start a chant "F*UCK THIS FRONT OFFICE"

Randle has started to turn things around. Coupled with last season I’m hoping we keep him, the only moves I want are to clear the glut of guards
