Curry and Zion will be absolutely insane scorers next year in the sim. Way better than expected.

Want to see that Desmond Bane bump too

Honestly it's still gonna be less than the Tyrese bump. I knew that was a downgrade when you did it lol. Didn't expect it to not matter either way though.

Also I told Context throw everything he has at somehow getting Shai, now I'm mad because JB, Shai, and Gobert will DOMINATE and we could've got him out the conference smh.

Picking up good players myself ain't the only way to make winning easier. If y'all get a wild request from out East ya boy might've just been in those PMs trying to eek out an extra win or two.

No doubt Haliburton will get a massive boost but stars aren't everything. With Curry/Jokic with the ball Haliburton value as a ball dominant passer just wouldn't be as valuable with two big time playmakers already. Bane hopefully being the better scorer/shooter/defender will play the role I need him in more of an off ball role. We see how the rankings shake out.

It also doesn't hurt for my cap flexibility he's uber cheap too and I need to plan to lose some of my depth going forward.

I didn't win all those games with Russ and Ben Simmons and turn Moses Brown into a 26 ppg scorer for people to still think stacking playmakers isn't a winning strategy in the sim lol. Curry's scoring with two double digit assist guys would've been insane.

Him, KAT, and LeBron playing bad could be my saving grace this year if the ratings reflect it. It's hard to tell how much they take the new season into account though.

Also Paolo being great makes Strick so much more of a threat. I thought he'd at least give me a few easy Ws.

You make valid arguments. I just would have had to put Haliburton at PG and then that probably diminishes Jokic value since I want to run the offense through him and elite movement shooters around him. I wonder how the SIM would have valued Curry as a 2 guard.

Probably something I would have dabbled with if I kept Haliburton but Curry still was a really good assist guy in the SIM and Bane is nearly avg 5 assists too...along with Jokic I don't think I lack much in terms of playmaking. I'm really hoping Bane on ball defense gives me a bit of a boost since I am expecting Curry's to come down.

Also then factor in since I'm paying both my big guys big $$$ anywhere I can save an Bane being sub $30 for 5 years give me a lot of flexibility to maintain this roster.

To best honest I didn't expect Haliburton to maintain this level of elite EFF as well. I knew the passing was for real but I thought with INDY being not so good and Haliburton now getting the focus of every defense and his higher usage he would tick down a bit there but he hasn't at all. The shot is the shot. Was never concerned about that. Its more of going to the #1 option. You get the teams best defender usually...you get the focus of the gameplan. You get more USAGE which sometimes can bring down EFF. But in his case he has thrived with more usage. He's been amazing. Time will tell if it was the right move. Waiting for those ratings to come out.

Just going through an initial pass at the power rankings...man this is going to be tough. I thought gap between some of the teams was much bigger last few seasons. I am having a lot of difficulty deciding the top 10ish teams. Lot of parity this offseason brought.

• Klay is closer to retirement and is cooked as well. Terrible efficiency

• Miles will be in jail and likely unavailable in the SIM. Cancel him!!!

• Based on last season’s stats Trey Murphy III is gonna get pretty meh SIM ratings

• Based on last season’s stats Bol Bol is gonna get pretty meh SIM ratings

• Based on last season’s stats Nick Richards is gonna get pretty meh SIM ratings

• Brogdon’s bad 3pt shooting last season and low volumes this early season equates to a SIM rating drop

• Christian Wood can’t defend and Jason Kidd won’t give him enough mins in IRL Dallas to justify any kind of SIM bump

• Jeff Green is old and boring. Retire already!

• Joe Ingles is old and tore his ACL. He’s casseroled!

Oh nah I noticed his efficiency jumped last year in Indy once he got traded and knew this would happen. He had a 63 TS% last year after the trade and he has a 62 now.

I've always been a Hali truther so maybe my perspective is skewed lol.
