I get the raptors hate but I am honestly very happy for RJ and IQ. I hope that they have continued success in every game except us. I would also be happy to see IQ get a max contract there and RJ whatever the max extension is available when the time comes.

It's not about being negative. Notice I wished him well. It's about the shiny new RJ has turned a corner feeling that wears off very quickly.

Whether that's true or not, you can let them enjoy the ride. You don't need to immediately be patronizing towards their excitement IMO

I’m an RJ believer but Boucher did have 7-7 (3-3). I wonder how much IQ helped keep Curry down. I missed the game.

It was mostly Scottie Barnes who got Curry off his game in the first half. With OG in NYK now, ot often falls to Scottie to defend the opponent's best scorer, and he's been able to play his free safety sort of defense a lot of the time too, then think about his own scoring second, as he's more of a playmaker than scorer. OG has been replaced by two guy who are more natural scorers than he was, but with weaker D, so the roster has be rebalanced to better utilize everyone, move the ball more, and create better looks.

IQ and Barnes weren't needed to be top scorers in this one, with lots of points coming from others in this game.

It seems like a win-win trade to me. Just don't expect much from Achiuwa as he must have the worst basketball IQ in the league. Flynn is not even an NBA player so I can't see him getting any floor time on a good team like the Knicks. I would be worried about possibly having to give Anunoby a max contrat though. It would not seem wise to do so considering he is an elite role player and not a star type player. The Knicks might be able to get away with it though because I believe Brunson and Randle are both on great deals if I am not mistaken.

This video has clips of OG in junior and senior high school. Basically, a timeline of his life. I didn't know that OG"s mother, who was an athlete herself, died when he was 1 year old. It also gets into his side gigs. Pretty smart guy.

Well, the Raptors also got younger and less experienced. I wonder if Kyle Lowry goes back to Toronto to finish up his career and then retired and get hired as an assistant coach to work with IQ.

(for the Knicks, he had 18,2/5,4/2,8 on 42/34/72

IQ is having 16,7/4,6/6,1 on 41/44/85 (12 games for the Raptors -66
(for the Knicks, he had 12,9/3,2/3 on 42/37/86)

OG is having 14,9/5,2/1,4 on 51/41/92 (11 games for the Knicks) +190
