Doesn’t matter that CAA/ Dolan runs KFTV
I’m gonna beat the drum for Thibs to be fired

The goal is to WIN A RING
I DONT WANT TO BE A MIDDLING FIRST OR SECOND ROUND EXT TEAM EVERY YEAR, at that point you might as well tank for a generational talent

Respect bro
Honestly the reason I rambled tonight about nonsense is because they never let you say anything bad about Thibs
If Thibs doesn’t win at least 3 games in the 2nd round, the question becomes how fast do we replace him

I knew from the beginning that CP the Franchise was a Dolan shill and KFTV was an MSG run operation. I don't know why Knicks fans bother listening to that podcast when there are a lot of other Knicks podcasts on the internet in which the main host isn't biased or is afraid to criticize Thibs in fear that he isn't going to recieve an MSG job offer.

Although I do not agree with you regarding Thibs I have to give you props for at least showing up here after an embarrassing loss. Many people who are pro Thibs become less vocal while others are nowhere to be seen whenever his coaching deficiencies get exposed.

My currrent theory is Thibs is the last squeeze in the toothpaste tube.

Every year under Leon the team has gotten better. We got 2 all stars for the past several years. A great PG after several decades. A great 6th man. A top sniper (who we had to trade for an all star), the two top gettable two way wings (aside from superstars like Kawhi and Lebron). And from first round loss to 2nd round loss, etc. So at the end of this season, if we don't go further than last year, there is only one direction to look.

And like squeezing the final drops out of a toothpaste tube, it will be Thibs squeezed out. With thanks but with a gold watch.

This is a good time to remind people Thibs has as many playoff series wins against teams with below .500 records as he does teams with 50 or more wins.

I was surprised at the massive number of Thibs groupies that are on Reddit. I thought that some Thibs defenders here were difficult, but if you give one measly critique of the man or question his coaching ability on that platform you will receive a flood of down votes and personal attacks from his loyal followers.

Big facts man, I agree with you. I used to rock with them about 7 years ago, in the dark days. But recently I’ve noticed a shift where you can’t say ANYTHING to criticize Thibs. I’ve noticed it too bro, you’re right about that. CAA, world wide Wes or Dolan has to own him, I’m guessing that they bought him out shortly after CP the Fanchise quit his day job as an accountant to run the pod. They probably paid him off.

There’s a couple of other podcasts, like into the Knicks universe, and the hot hand theory that call a spade a spade.

Tbh, I always thought the other guy, who went to do Knick of Time, was the one with interesting things to say.

But it's years since I watched any of them

Yea 4real, all they do is deny, deflect, and strawman you to death. Been that way for 5 months. It’s funny to see the mental gymnastics people are doing to try to handle this cognitive dissonance they’re experiencing… they love the team and coach but people pointing out it’s clearly not working is too much for them to accept or even fully address. So they resort to the aforementioned behaviors or just flat out ignore you. It’s sad really, but that’s life as a Knick fan

Tom has too much talent on this team for this squad to being blown out by the top clubs. I don't wanna hear about the bench. His approach is not raising the ceiling for the team and frankly I do blame him for Josh now having knee issues. He is stubborn, reckless, and he doesn't adjust when things clearly aren't working.

Leon needs to look at what younger coaches with modern sensibilities are doing and get with the program. Atkinson and Muzzula have coached circles around him and if we get blown out today, the conversations need to be had in the front office.

He's already ground Hart down. If Mikal misses a game the sirens signaling the Morlocks are above ground will go off.

I respect the loyalty Rose may have to Thibs, but I don't expect that to be unbreakable. The FO has all the data it needs to make a change.
