They just seem like they’re trying too hard to cultivate an identity similar to the bad boy Pistons. It’s a really bad attempt at cosplaying. All the extra curricular activity is just a lack of maturity. It comes off inauthentic and silly.

Stewart got away with a metric f*ck ton of moving screens in that game, freeing up several made 3s. Ok, maybe Duren did a few, just noticing it, since I always look for that, since Knick C's can't even flinch or they get called.

I couldn't believe all of their moving screens that weren't called. Crazy.

DET missed a lot of open shots during that stretch

Knicks def took advantage of it - which to me is a sign of hunger & desperation. Something I wanted to see more of from the team this year. So hopefully this is something we see every game

He’s just so smooth. His handles is never mentioned when discussing best handle but it’s def top 5 in the NBA. Hesitations, in and outs, crossovers when guys are off balance. Probably the best under the rim Knicks player in my 32 years of fandom

I remember being in my 20s and making fun of Jennifer connelly's eyebrows and one of my older friends disgustedly called me a fcking idiot for talking sht about a baddie over something stupid like eyebrows. Worst thing about this game is that people heaping praise on JB. Yeah it shows he's a top player that he can get 30+ after a bad start. But he's really NOT the guy who turned the tide. And in fact he helped the Pistons build a lead that more than half the time they would keep. He played poorly IMO and not going to change my mind on that bc of his statline.

If anything this enables him to play that way again. Pass and facilitate early JB. Don't let Thibs make you into a selfish player.
