Pistons are an annoying scrappy team. I expect them to double down on the physicality and antics.
They just seem like they’re trying too hard to cultivate an identity similar to the bad boy Pistons. It’s a really bad attempt at cosplaying. All the extra curricular activity is just a lack of maturity. It comes off inauthentic and silly.

A lot of it was pathetic though. Especially when you consider Payne came in, got scrappy, and they got shook.

I couldn't believe all of their moving screens that weren't called. Crazy.
Several were REALLY obvious

The Thunder aren't that good. New coach for Memphis.WargamesX wrote:
Wow…. I don’t know if it’s because the Thunder are so scary or the Grizzlies are not really good and fired their coach a few games ago.

Detroit is nothing special. The handwringing about this series is just knicks for clicks.WargamesX wrote:Butch718 wrote:Pistons are an annoying scrappy team. I expect them to double down on the physicality and antics.

Here’s the run.
DET missed a lot of open shots during that stretch
Knicks def took advantage of it - which to me is a sign of hunger & desperation. Something I wanted to see more of from the team this year. So hopefully this is something we see every game

He’s just so smooth. His handles is never mentioned when discussing best handle but it’s def top 5 in the NBA. Hesitations, in and outs, crossovers when guys are off balance. Probably the best under the rim Knicks player in my 32 years of fandom

Nah he can be imperfect without calling his number many times in a row with poor results and a score going the wrong direction
2-13 and losing at home … change your approach
You will lose most games like that. We dodged a bullet
Closing the game on 10-14 shooting with 5 assists seems like a good enough way to make up for it?
Approach never changed though.

Slandering Jennifer Connelly is flat out evil. Especially in your younger years you should have recalled her in career opportunities and the hot spot. You might have ruined my Sunday
Yung guan0 was a disappointment.

KnicksGod wrote:Worst thing about this game is that people heaping praise on JB. Yeah it shows he's a top player that he can get 30+ after a bad start. But he's really NOT the guy who turned the tide. And in fact he helped the Pistons build a lead that more than half the time they would keep. He played poorly IMO and not going to change my mind on that bc of his statline.
If anything this enables him to play that way again. Pass and facilitate early JB. Don't let Thibs make you into a selfish player.
Cap, you got one last ban in you. Make it a big one.

The defense was intense. Did not see fighting over screens all season hardly from OG. I don’t think he switched once.

People that love ball always salivate over Brunsons game. Teague said when he was in Dallas he almost tore his acl guarding Brunson.
