3-way with OG/Hart going out and then JJJ and other pieces coming in would be most welcomed.

Is he better than OG? I don’t really think so. He is good, he’d be perfect next to Towns here, but he, too, is inconsistent.

He's an Allstar, former DPOY, shoots 48%FG. 37+ 3pt, dropped over 22 ppg last season, only 25, best player on a near 50 win western playoff team...in what context is he inconsistent?

In this year’s playoffs his production dropped to 16 ppg, 5 rpg on 27 3P%, 37.9 FG% in four losses. He’s inconsistent. Also look up his regular season game logs. His production is up and down all over the place.

He’s a great positional fit, but if you don’t like Bridges, I don’t think you’ll like him much. I like Bridges and I’d be down with Jackson jr., just don’t expect too much.

I guess thats fair, but I do think JJJ is still getting better, but yeah hes got flaws.

Don’t get me wrong, I like him very much, he and Turner are the two players I’d put next to Towns.

However, I really like what we have and I think OG is in the same tier. I’m also not a fan of breaking up Wingstop anyway. That’s a more valuable thing than folks seem to understand. Horford is my best answer for what we should do in the offseason, but of course I get why guys are losing it over JJJ.

Horford
Looney
Boucher
Capela
Bamba
are free agent centers.

Lively
Reath
Kessler
Claxton
Duren
somewhat match McBride‘s salary.

Take one and run.

yeah, there is basically 0 change we get triple J. Memphis won't trade him... and if they do, multiple teams will offer more. don't get this discussion at all tbh.

Just like all that OG trade speculation for a trade that would never happen?

It may not happen but it is absolutely worthy of discussion.....

1. Is Giannis Plan A?
2. Was the Bane move truly about clearing space to make a better extension offer to Jaren?
3. They obviously have already spoken and gotten a feel for where he stands , despite the PR stuff being thrown out there.

JJJ has a ton of leverage in this situation. Did he say max out my contract extension and I stay? Or did he refuse to give a strong commitment?

We just so happen to be interviewing his former coach 1st right now. Pure coincidence? How much does he love Jenkins?

This could still easily go either way. Too much still up in the air unless you have decided to pick one side of the conflicting reports based on how the wind is blowing that particular day.

With that said, Its definitely not 75%+ going to happen while at same time it isnt some 10% or less totally crazy far fetched scenario either....

To say 0 chance is just myopic thinking.

who said that there was no chance for those OG, Bridges, KAT trades? it was pretty clear that all of them were available for the right price.
And that Luka thing is once in a decade. I don't think its a good example.

Windhorst said there is a good chance that Memphis keeps JJJ. So even IF they trade him, they would probably get at least 4 unprotected firsts when you consider the Bane trade. And we have none. Sure you can trade OG to a third team and maybe you would get that return, but how much better are you when you just swap JJJ for OG?

Sorry i just don't see it.

Plenty said 0 chance for those prior trades (maybe you too? Dunno didnt keep tabs.)

If you keep KAT , JJJ is absolutely a better fit than even OG and I love OG. Because the idea is you would keep Bridges and get him to agree to extend before trading OG. And while OG/Bridges are not the exact same, both are wing stoppers and we would keep one while adding the better complementary big stopper next to KAT.

Some surprise may come available but until the dust settles the focus is on the tier 1 guys we know and DDV since it defintely seems his heart is still set on coming back to be with his buddy Brunson.

Toronto making Poetl apparently available is a potential nice tier 2 option to pair with KAT if other things fall through.

The Raptors deal is a pretty good one for Phoenix. I'd take it if I'm the Suns.

Yeah. Dump Tucker.

Brunson/Deuce/Kolek
Mikal/McC
Hart/Pac Daddy
OG
KAT/Mitch/Huk

That's 11 players. Not sure what the apron space is yet though.

With the right coach, this could turn out to be a more successful lineup than the ones we had this year. So if we only acquire a few small pieces around the edges, and the coach works with them on their plays during practice, playing the starters less during the season, we just might do better in the playoffs.

In theory depending on how it shakes out , you'd have....

1. Brunson
2. KAT
3. JJJ
4. OG (or Bridges)

As your top 4...

With that firepower, You don't need JJJ to be MJ.

What you want is high efficiency when you have 4 legit 18-20+ pt scorers on team. JJJ last 3 years is near 48% and last year his 3 ball was near 38%. Add in the DPOY level defense and rim protection, he is EXACTLY what this team would need if they are committed to building around KAT and Brunson.

Does KD want Canada and how much are Suns going to cater to KD. All important factors here. Because with the runored deal Masai seems to be pushing the hardest and has the best offer.

It does feels like if Tor was a top choice it would have been done by now....

Not enough depth to make a title push. These teams are flying around in the playoffs and have the depth to do so. We can’t trade Bridges + for him.
