On behalf of magnumt and the New York Knicks, with the 238th pick in the B-a-T 4.0 draft the Knicks select SF Damion James.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damion_James

He's a great 3PT Shooter, faaaaaaaaaaar more Athletic than the guy was I targeting, and will be on Yr 1 of a VERY good Rookie Deal. Both I and the Real Life Nets think we got a steal with him. He's also terrific on the Defense, can hit the Mid-Range shot, and Slash to basket with ease and finish. A PERFECT backup to Raja and Lebron at the 2/3 spot.

Well considering yet another player that I was going to select was selected RIGHT BEFORE my pick, I might as well just do the inevitable. Some of you guys probably knew it had to be coming. How could it not considering what team this is...

With the 246th pick the MIAMI HEAT select...

PAT RILEY

ESPN - Team President and Pat Riley has decided to pick up the coaching reigns once again and will become the Heat's new head coach. "It felt like the time. We have a great team of players and I want to give it the best chance to win" an exhuberant, and scruggly faced Riley told reporters.

Image

This was just the perfect coach for this team.

A 3 time NBA Coach of the Year, Pat Riley has guided his teams to 6 NBA titles and 1210-694 won-loss record (for an astonding .636 winning percentage). A master stragtegist and motivator, what makes Riley standout from the other top head coaches is his ability to win by adapting his style of coaching to the players he has. Whether it was the "Showtime" Lakers or the "Physical" Knicks or the hybrid inside-out of the Heat, Riley has managed to get his team to perform to their best ability (a true master of getting blood from a stone). We expect coach Riley to maximize the considerable talents at his disposal and lead them to the NBA title this season and for many seasons beyond. With a team that, for the exception of Ben Wallace are either hitting their prime or in their prime, we expect the Riley and the Heat to be an elite team for years to come.
