He knows people true enough, bit he could very well be quoting what SAS has been saying for the last few days.

He's actually been covering the Knicks a lot more than the Nets rcently because of Lin

And our media policy has been pretty tight in the past two years. What if the leak to Beck was totally intentional? Am I reaching? Probably.

For some reason I think he's praying for the opposite.

Yao got it like that?

No D'Antoni, Fields and Jeffries. Maybe Lin doesn't want to come back? He knew that 3rd year would have been an issue. Just trying to read between the lines here.

So they are literally going to let the deadline pass and say nothing. So bizarre. That's a big fat F you to Lin and Houston. It's like they don't exist.

As we reported, Felton was promised starting PG guard when he signed, with Kidd as backup. Felton, Kidd, Spanish League warhorse Pablo Prigioni as third string will be fine. Unsure of Linsanity clamor once Felton came aboard. Why create an uncomfortable logjam filled with controversy. That’s not exactly what feel-good Disney Movie from last February/March was about. That was an unforgettable moment in time and would never be same. It passed when Lin redid offer sheet.

All Berman articles need to be banned from the forum. The guy is a complete and utter hack. He is on the level of Vescey.

All this reports were coming out (Broussard) that LBJ was going to Miami but none of the fans in cleveland would believe it - stating that the inside sources got it all wrong - that no way in hell LBJ would embarrass the fans on national TV unless he was staying, etc ,etc. When the news finally broke, all the pent up anger unleashed -with people burning Jerseys, the owner going berserk, etc.etc.

I feel the same thing happening here. Face it guys.. you guys know it's over. We need to move on.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Obviously this is nowhere near that (Lebron) stratasphere but it is clear denial IMO.

The first reports a few days ago weren't enough for me and even the talk of bringing in Felton I saw as more of a bluff or just a rumor. But once the Felton deal was pretty much finalized (although it took a little longer) I knew Lin was 100% gone. Just too obvious.

Not sure how anyone can still have hope after it's ^^^ right up there under the NBA headlines on this page lol. It's done. It sucks ass but it's done..

There was some optimism last night after the melo quote.. but it amounted to nothing but a PR move.
I think it's pretty much set now. This is why I can't believe the Knicks haven't officially announced it yet. For the sake of their fans, if nothing else, they should announce it and get it over with.

i don't think he thought he would ever end up in houston. not for a second.

Me neither, my honest feeling is that he's in shock right now...and that his rosary beads are clutched tight and he's promising God half of his first pay check...but I'm subscribing to the "this is a naive young God fearing Christian with a heart of gold" belief.

Why is it 10:30 EST and Knicks fans have no response? Honestly, this is ridiculous.

Something between him and Woodson didn't seem right when I re-watch the games and study the body language and this is before MikeD quit.
