What we traded for Camby doesn't even get you Afflalo

Afflalo is a 27 year old SG who is definitely nothing more than a great role player who is on a long and not so cheap contract.

And the Nuggets still wouldn't trade him for the Camby package...

Nothing wrong actually. I said ASSUMING THE CORE PLAYERS ARE STILL PLAYING. But I am saying a backcourt of Kobe and Nash in the 2014 playoffs will not beat OKC with Durant and Westbrook in their prime.

I think they can if there is nothing else left for OKC.

yup.

Where's the stupidity of our front office in this deal. Its not an exact science where we got the math wrong. There are people and agendas involved.

blu, let me help you out with a simple equation.

anything positive for any other team unrelated to the knicks = knicks suck.

you'll find that you can use this in almost any circumstance. good luck man.

They don't. Lakers usually make very fair deals. They just know how to negotiate and not overpay.

You can't be saying that with a straight face right now

And a Frontcourt of Perkins and Ibaka will not stop Howard and Gasol if Howard stays.

The Tyson deal would be fairly comparable. We can't say we didn't get a steal with that one.

I don't think the Knicks offering Chandler the biggest contract (of teams interested) can be considered a steal.

The Warriors had offered a $60 million deal for Tyson no? But I get what everyone is saying. The Gasol deal is definitely illuminated since they made the Finals right after acquiring him, but yes, the Lakers are perpetually amazing.

I have a theory that teams know a successful LA team brings in more revenue for owners of smal market teams....thats why they trade all the stars there for peanuts. The NBA owners need them to be dominant for profit sharing purposes.

Sixers turned Iggy into J. Richardson, and Bynum. They easily win this trade.

Fixed. Dwight isn't leaving LA. He's not signing the extension during the season because it makes more sense financially to wait until he's a FA.

This is the answer that should be answered. Not why the Knicks are so bad as a front office? What date rape drug Mitch/Buss using?

If not for Stern they would have gotten CP3. They get it done. They are every good. GOAT.

I have a very straight face. Last time I checked basketball is not played 2 on 2. With Harden/Ibaka gone, OKC is a good playoff team but not better than Lakers with Howard/Gasol inside and an old Kobe/Nash backcourt.

it might not get you al harrington.

Point is those guys will have as much "impact" for Orl as Jorts and TD will for Hous. Both will have 0 impact and none of the players has a promising future.

Funny how Denver has been shuffling and reshuffling their roster constantly.

Wow, how da hell are The Lakers able to pull off deals like this?! First Nash, and now Howard?! Damn. And also when they got Gasol, it was a steal. Plus, these trades usually paid off. Wow. It sucks to be a Knicks fan looking at what The Lakers' done. :nonono:

Why is everyone comparing the Dwight deal to the melo deal. Did we give up the second best player in the league at Melos position?

Two of the sources caution that they have not heard directly from Orlando management that the Magic have agreed to the deal.

Could just be gauging reaction... it's a bad trade. Damn twitter.. needs to be burned to the ground.
