interesting. i think if we end up with #1, we have to just take okafor. but if we get #2, i would explore a trade-down to get two picks from one of those teams behind us. #3 and #16 would be awesome. maybe something you even comtemplate with #1.

Just trade THjr for a pick regardless where we pick. Clean sweep nobody but Phil's guys Anthony and Early

what you think we get for tim?
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Late first maybe two second rounders. Personally I would like to move both he and Larkin for Tobias Harris.
Maybe trade him to Charlotte for their pick. Detroit for thier's.

Nba isnt like nfl, one player makes a world of a difference. I wouldn't trade down at all

Tyus Jones has a lot of potential. The knack on him is his defense and size (think DJ Augustine). But for a freshman he has outstanding poise and seems to always hit a big shot. Also, he is one the best passers in all of college basketball right now. Very smart, crisp passes and sprinkle in passes each game that make you go "wow."

It would be great if we could draft Okafor (Okafur lol) and somehow grab Jones. They have been best friends since 6th grade so the chemistry is there and you can see it on the court.

You wait to see where we'd raft before trading thjr

If we draft first we don't needto move him so much. If we draft 3rd we could move him and 3 for 4 and 17 from phili

Many options later

Unless we can grab a potentially lotto pick for him no we wait

I get where you are going with that, but I think that is an overestimation of THJ's value.

No because you aren't 100% sure he's better. If its Harrell and Russell or Okafor you always take Harrell and Russell. Chances are those 2 are worth more than one Okafor. Now if Davis or Lebron is the first guy that's when you don't trade.

Don't kill me but I look at Russell I keep thinking S.Curry. Russell has two inches on him but both are built similar. I looked at Curry's freshman numbers, Russell's numbers are better thus far. Except PPG. Curry averaged two more points and Curry has him beat in free throw percentage.
Not saying he's going to be Curry but if he's a Knick we can hope.

If he didn't get hurt Penny for Webber would be one of the notable ones. Love for Mayo. There's probably others I can't think of off top too.

Just no. Webber was awesome and even if Penny was healthy it was a bad deal.

Penny was 3rd in MVP voting in his 3rd season under Michael Jordan winning 72 games and David Robinson. The closest Webber got was 4 in a year where Allen Iverson won.

This kid may see the floor better and have a natural feel that is superior. Nobody can beat Curry as a shooter -- just tie. But count me as someone who thinks Steph gets a bit overrated. He's a great shooter and good playmaker. Not a great playmaker and shooting is, at some level, overrated.

A Russell / Dragic backcourt.. offensively that would be something...

Triangle doesn't need a star point guard, just 3 and d guys. No dragic, no rondo, etc

You worried about supposed triangle fits when we are top 3 worst talented team in the league

Look where Jose Calderon is getting us. We do not have a Jordan, a Pippen, a Kobe, or a Shaq on this team. We need as much talent as possible. If Fisher cannot utilize a guy with the talent like Dragic's, he shouldn't be an NBA coach.

I'm starting to think we're just at the point where people say so many good things about Steph, that people just say stuff to balance it out.

People that think that Curry is anything less than a phenomenal passer are drunk and high at the same damn time

And he's the greatest shooter the game has ever seen. Stop it.

I know it's weird that tese assessments of Curry's passing bother me as much as they do, but I just find it really laughable and dead ass wrong.
What do I care...it's rigged anyway
