Imagine if it was Melo :o

Lol (New Knicks Player ) melo isn't new . It was probably lee or maybe Noah or it could be rose .Because he says he hates losing and it gets him depressed when his team doesn't win .So maybe one of those three .But maybe Noah since he so called "wanted to be an animal" for this team .

It's definitely not Rose...he was traded here...he had no choice in coming here

it's probably Lee...he was convinced by Noah to come here and it was reported that he had numerous teams after him, he had options

True, So okay must be lee since he had been sitting down a few games watching the debacle .Its so damn upsetting when you also have a franchise owner who doesn't give crap .My feeling there's going to be a meeting tomorrow. bulls did it with rondo and now he's on the bench someone has to hold this team responsible for this atrocity.

Wow, I just finished listening to Hornacek's post game interview. There is literally no hope for this team defensively. He pretty much conceded that the defense will probably continue to be an embarrassment, and there's not much he can do about it.

This team isn't even in a playoff chase though, but I'd expect it to be swept under the rug.

Problem is I think it is more than 1 player seems like it's multiple people doing to either Jeff or Phil or someone. Rondo was a lone wolf on a tight playoff bound team so he stood out.

It may be multiple players, but one ringleader. The video doesn't lie.

Which video of Jeff turning away? I have seen Jeff stomp his feet multiple times over Rose breaking plays.

I think that video looks worse on Jeff. How can you not bench him?

Jeff is already looking for sweet release and Melo looks like he'll shut it down after the allstar game.

Jeff said we may have to employ some "gimmicky scheme" defensively. Did our head coach really say that? :nonono:

He essentially said that our guys are so unwilling to put forth the effort to play basic defense that he has to come up with a way to trick them into doing it

More like zone defenses. 2-3, 3-2, something. The team is just really bad at communicating, and take their frustrations on the offensive end to the other side of the court.

It'd be awesome to see us use a random zone defense on every possession.

So the 18 plus blown layups, passes that got fumbled that would of led to layups and bad passes that blew potetnk layups were fine? Your PG going 1 on 2 at the rim is fine. But the ISO play is where Jeff gets pissed? After all the ISO plays this guy has called this season?

How about you don't start this team behind the 8 ball to being with? You're already playing 4 on 5 with Noah out there. So you compound it by playing LFT who's been pretty terrible all year?

And if you're so upset by the defense, why don't you start the guy who's probably been your best perimeter defender in Holiday? You know, so when he makes a good play on defense it isn't wasted on the 2nd unit who are lost on offense most nights?

During this losing streak Jeff has started 2 guys who have been missing from the rotation during almost all our W's.

Nah. It's on #7 for that

I've been saying - he wasn't ready to move before and it was kind of his call. Not really moot point anymore. He got his players and the team still isn't that good. Time to roll.

That's all it is now. It is time. People can fight with each other over it if they want to, but denying the turning of the tides doesn't keep the ocean from rolling up over your feet.

Wow, You think Popavich , Pat Riley, would have that defeated attitude .It's not a good when you basically have the coach giving up hope on his players playing any defense .Like I said we needed a tough coach, Jeff is too soft and doesn't have the guts to hold any of his players responsible .
And WTF is rambis doing that bum ?! Can we bring Jeff van gundy back ?

Honestly, I would consider it only because it scares the shyt outta me every time he goes to the ground. He's so damn big and lanky that I'm afraid that at some point in the not so distant future, he could get some chronic injuries...I like the kid, but it's def scary.

I just wish we didn't win that deciding game that would've put us in the Wolves spot to get Towns at #1.
