Drake literally says it in the song

I just left from over by y'all putting pen to the sheets. Tired of sitting quiet and letting my enemies eat

Also

You must have had your infrared (info read) wrong now your head in the beams.

Drakes camp was confirmed seen and posted igs in Wyoming where ye and Push wrote their albums. A leak in GOOD probably told Drake about this and he prepared this to come out if Push actually put it on the album. I'm guessing it also wasn't a coincidence that all of his boys posted igs of them in Wyoming as evidence.

Drake too calculated to fuq with.

Lmao you think it's that simple? This is easy promo for Push & Ye.
You'd assume the fans will automatically take the side of Mr. Donator/God's Plan himself over the "crazy coon" Ye & his crew but Push already got on radio yesterday and said he's against everything Ye said.

Dude talking numbers like he's Hov. Lmao this not another Meek situation.
He can drop a back to back to back and still wouldn't work.

Expect a Push response during Drake's "album season".

The fuq would Drake need promo for? He's number 1 on the charts seemingly every week and he's been in the mainstream for nearly a decade... I highly doubt Drakes worried about his promo for his album. More Life practically sold the same as To Pump A Butterfly (in 1 week sales) the consensus number 2 rapper(in terms of popularity) Kendrick and more life didnt have 2 days counted towards the numbers.... Drake can sneeze all over the track and it would go platinum. This chit is personal and it goes back even before drake. Wayne and Birdman hot boy days era chit.... and they've dissed each other before in non album season. I just don't see it... what would be in it for Drake to help Push out? He's already proved his chops against a battle rapper. He doesn't need his pen validated any more... if you didn't like Drake or take his pen game seriously before this i doubt 1 song in a 10 year career is going to all of a sudden turn anyone into a fan.

Actually dissect that diss track that Drake dropped. He's talking a whole bunch of ****, but then when you really look at it, son is talking a whole bunch of nothing

He's just trying to get a reaction outta Push like Push didn't son his mentors. He don't want the smoke AT ALL

I been listening to Drake since 08. Lol, I know what he's done. Him being able to make hits and make money more than someone doesn't equate to better talent. If you honestly think Drake is a better rapper than Pusha T then idk what to tell you. I know exactly where this all started. I know all the small details that even the mass aren't hip to.
Pusha isn't a battle rapper, nor is Meek on Pusha's pen game level. Push is tiers far above.
Drake trying to handle this in another Meek way but it's not gonna end similar. While he's still ducking Kendrick, he's picking a fight with someone who can body him on a track. Drake can drop a back to back to back to back with a platinum hit and it won't damage anything to Push or Ye.
This duppy is better than the charged up joint from 2 or so years ago but yeah, nothing crazy. I swear I think people get so used to singing or harmonizing Drake that they could pumped over any regular rap Drake.

Ain’t nobody scared of Push pop. We want all the smoke. He should have kept Drakes name out of his mouth.

Agreed it's super weird.

If the use of that picture is for some sort of social commentary or critique I can understand that but what is the commentary? And does it have to be at the expense of another person's privacy/respect/dignity or that of their family?

If the picture represented some artistic merit and not using it would compromise their artistic integrity I could understand but I don't really see what the artistic statement is. I was also surprised that there doesn't seem to be a line of basic decency that shouldn't be crossed, especially with a peer or fellow artist, especially as legendary and influential as Whitney. I thought there was almost universal respect and acclaim for the immensely talented artists that died much earlier then they should such as Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, Winehouse, Cobain (damn 27 club  ), Tupac, Biggie, etc.

Increasingly I'm leaning to the possibility that it's simply done for the shock value. I often feel like half the controversial things he says or does are simply taken from the Kardashian playbook on how to stay relevant.

In the span of like 48 hours of a big project being released there's the Drake beef, the album cover, the rhymefest issue and while it's certainly fantastic promotion and will undoubtedly boost sales and bring more attention I can't help but feel dirty and used and a little off-put by it all.

Gotta get that money though I guess :(

My POV

1. Pusha is coke rap. Whitney... no need to comment on correlation

2. Shock value

Funny.

Neither were held back by Drake.
PND is busy making trash now. He needs to get it together because I’m actually a fan.

Week is a pop dude that was never even signed to Drake. His music is trash now too.

“So Far Gone”
“Thank Me Later”
Both Classics.
All of his albums are fire. All of them.

“Nothing was the Same”
“Views”
“More Life”
