Your back to back posts don't jibe with each other. We gave KOQ and them a shot because we don't know what the future holds but then Jeff was playing for his coaching career. We played the vets last year because we were trying for the playoffs. we are not trying for the playoffs this year. The players are, but they aren't good enough and Fizz has been keeping them out of any kind of chance of playing well. We're lotto bound.

This year isn't last year. This year is 2010. I feel it will end up the same way, too. But that's what they are trying to do.

so your fear is that we will be a disaster franchise that will overpay for a guy not worthy of it...and you want me to have faith in the organization?

I don't fear it will be a disaster. I don't see a big time free agent coming here on his own. Just like in 2010. New York isn't a special place to play every day. Nobody needs it. Nobody wants the hassle. But they aren't chasing wins like you seem to think they are. The Knicks have something they haven't had in forever. Flexibility and control over their picks. We're in year 1 of real rebuilding. Maybe year 0. It won't be a quick fix. It will be a minute.

We wanted the 8th seed. How is that not clear? That's what we were aiming for.

Yes, because Jeff still needed a job and Pills and them weren't serious about a tank yet.

K-DOT disagrees. He thinks thanks to KP’s torrid 10 game start to the season is the reason why we weren’t going to be bad enough to tank for Doncic, but it’s why I made the sig that I have. Should’ve never signed Burke and that was all Perry.

your sig is wrong though. it wasn't 1 game. we won 2 of the last 5 and and 5 of the last 15 after they started him. before that we were something like 1-20.

From that perspective, would you retain any of the 2nd draft guys or mulligan?

we have been told by everyone and all the moves so far have indicated the front office is looking for a quick fix...they want to make a splash this upcoming FA. its why they handled the noah contract like they did and the KP extension like they did.

They put us in position to get a Durant like player. Why not? What they have to be ready for is to engage in the rebuild in full in the likely outcome that one won't come. Otherwise, it'll be 2010 all over again.

So I'm reading a headline right now right on this website that Cavs are willing to take on long term deals :o

especially if they are the only team on the market currently doing this they can ask for crazy prices to move small amounts of money. Smart to make that known this early.

Fran does pull off the occasional impressive random azz drive about every 4-5 games or so. The funny thing is has an incredulous look when he's doing it. Even he's like, "where the F did that come from I suck?"
